Baymont by Wyndham Louisville Airport South

Pleasantly surprised by cleanliness of property and room, bathroom was spotless, freshly caulked. Gave 2 bottles water at check in which was nice and you didn’t have to guess if it was free or you would be charged. Bed and pillows comfortable. Not much in the general vicinity but there is a Shoney’s, White Castle and Outback with a couple of gas stations immediately nearby. Close to the airport yet we didn’t hear planes taking off which was nice. The only minuses: TV, you had to download apps and log into your own but they wouldn’t work and several stations that the guide says you have, show not available when you go to them. There was also an odd clicking/clanging mechanical noises from the heater and fridge overnight. Not constant but might want to look into. We stay at a few hotels every year in Louisville and this was our first in this area. Overall, pleasantly surprised and would look at staying again as it is only a few miles from our son’s house.

Hallway had a bad smell and had to have sheets changed. there were stains on them. Had a reservation for end of march but cancelling after this stay.

Breakfast was only muffins and a apple. Coffee

Breakfast was mediocre. No eggs or sausage but it might have been because it was New years Day and no one was traveling.

The room and hotel was nice. Nothing spectacular. It served my needs. Location and ease to access the hotel was nice. Right off the highway. The hotel did NOT have an elevator which made carrying all of my items difficult. Breakfast was nice.

The very strong Air freshener the moment enter the hotel is so bad. A lot of fruit fly in the room and found roach in the bathroom.

Very nice and clean, updates are needed. The tub faucet leaked the whole time we were there, couldn’t hear it from the bedroom so it didn’t bother us. The door to the bathroom didn’t really lock since we couldn’t fully close the door, it seemed like the door jam was swollen. Breakfast was good, hotel was quiet, staff was kind and respectful. We really did enjoy our stay!

I wasn't able to stay for my birthday because of the app I used for the reservation moved the day of my stay

The property was definitely an older one, not in the nicest of areas, nut the proprietors did an excellent job of keeping the facility clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and amenable. My room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet and I got a good night sleep.

Aren’t working, phone didn’t work, tub/shower drain stopped up, carpets are nasty old with pieces missing & it has a smell to entire building.

Bathroom wasn't very good at all beds not good fridge no good

The ceiling plaster in the bathroom fell on my daughter while she was in the shower. There was dirt all over it was nasty and very unclean.

I had a fraudulent booking at this property. I never checked in, I never stayed yet still got billed. Stay away from this property.

We stayed 5 nights at this property. Our room was only serviced after first night. We had to ask for towels several times and toilet paper. They would take our towels and not replace them. Trash was taken only half the time. When I brought the issues up to desk clerk they told me I had my do not disturb tag out. It was never touched and not even seen til last day hanging in closet area. Only positive experience was they moved us to a room that did not smell like a wet dog.

Had a good stay here. Noise was low and privacy was kept.

Very disappointing. Old, run down, not worth $130. Smelled like pot in the hallway, our carpet was slightly dump. Very noisy air conditioning. Not happy with this hotel
