The shower head had a Walmart bag wrapped around it and when the shower was running- it still leaked around the bag. One of the light bulbs flickered all night even though it was turned off and there was no shade or cover around the light bulb.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
Our main room, the bed and other furniture, and the bathroom were clean. The main room smelled a bit, maybe from cleaning chemicals. The shower controller needs repair.
We heard (but didn't look for it) a cat walking through the hallway outside our room, at night. And I noticed a cat pee smell in the corridor this morning.
The breakfast: The waffle maker worked great; the yogurt was fine; the raisins in the raisin bran were very hard; and the coffee was lukewarm and not very good.

Great location! Friendly staff. You get what you pay for here. It wasn’t terrible by any means. The bed and room were clean. Bath tub was very stained which made it appear dirty. Room smells old, musty, like cigarette smoke kind of.
Overall, not terrible and it was inexpensive compared to other, high rated hotels in the area.

The outside doors did not lock, anyone was able to enter the building. The pool is under construction. The hotel had a strong oder throughout the building. The breakfast consisted of sliced bread and cookies.

The interior conditions of this property are deplorable. The hallways and room had an odor that was not welcoming. The bathtub floor looked as if it has NEVER been cleaned. The bathroom was so bad that I went to the gym (independent) and showered. I sprayed the bed with disinfectant, but still slept in my clothes and coat. Will never stay here again. It was also not comforting the people who look like they just got out of prison (jailhouse tatts on face and hands) hanging in the lobby at 1am.

When we first arived the front door was busted and taped which left us feeling uneasy. Then when we arived in our room we noticed the place haden't been mainteneced for quite some time. The cheesy looking toilet despencr was about to fall off the wall. The water spout on the tub was sticking about an inch from the wall, and the wall around the hot tub was seperating and coming apart. the sheets were old and looked dirty. The only redeaming thing about this room was the hot tub but evenit had stains on the bottom of it which left you unsure to get in. Not to mention the tile around it was so slick I fell and cut my foot on the sharp edges. Worse experiance of a hotel stay I ever had.

Thefront entry doors were shattered on both sides. The finish on the bottom of the hot tub was coming off which made it look dirty. The jets were dirty. The ceilimg in the bathroom still had spackle on it along with two different color paint. When i needed a coffee stirrer, the one in the room was missing and package was opened. The coffee was cold and tasted awful.

Upon entering the room, the smell was very overwhelming. It was very floral smelling and even after 2 hours of having the window open, it still was just as bad. Our clothes smelled of it after leaving, INCLUDING THE ONES IN LUGGAGE WE NEVER OPENED. That shouldnt happen.
Bathroom tub needed a lot of work. It's broken. Two lamps wouldnt turn on, even though they were plugged in. Bed was extremly hard. Smoke detector was unattached, and I am not sure if it even had batteries. People tend to really slam the doors when entering or leaving, so maybe add a stopper to doors to let them easily close without slamming each time?
I know not to expect a lot for a room that was only 77 a night, BUT, there were some things that just need fixed.

Place smelled awful. Wouldn't let me check in 30 mins early, no soap in the women's restroom in the lobby. Told front desk didn't care. Room was still dirty. Pillows had stains on them lamps were nasty and rusted with stains. The fridge was super loud i couldn't sleep. Very small Pillows. I had nat flies and spiders.
