Baymont by Wyndham Texarkana

Second Baymont we stay in. Won't stay in another. Very old and beat up looking. Properties not well maintained.

Toilet did not work and shower did not work. Couldn’t find anyone to help us for hours. No front desk person, nobody answers phone. And when we did finally found someone, they did not believe that the toilet or shower didn’t work. Said they will have someone there in a few minutes and never showed up until the next day around 8am

Hotel was good for us passing through. Clean, well kept with soap, shampoo, and other accessories that rooms provide.

diabolical I cannot lie. so bad our big brave dog didn’t want to step inside. that sums it up! there is some brown substance in the fridge, could be poop or coffee not really distinguishable. we wanted to simply entertain ourselves with some television, but unfortunately there’s “no signal”. smells like a mixture of weed, smoke, and day old pee. disappointing. our BIG BRAVE dog is trying his hardest to escape:( and so are we. the first room we were given had a liquid on the ground so we EVACUATED and were given a second room. the staff checked three other rooms to see which one was the best, and the best one they gave us had our whole family laughing. overall very pleasant and amazing hotel. -5/5 ‼️

This was a very clean, comfortable, and spacious room with really nice linens and basic appointments, including a handy mini-fridge and microwave. The room was also quiet with a very nice, larger tv and an excellent wi-fi. I enjoyed the basic continental breakfast with great basics, coffee, juices, and warm goods including a waffle station. I’m happy with my choice and this is a better-than-average budget hotel!

Well when me and my wife got there we asked about the pool and it was closed then the day before we was leaving it opened up about 7pm and we was going to get in the pool but they said one room at a time around 730pm we get a knock on our door saying we can get in the pool but we only have a half hour to swim

Was ok

Our deposit was more than the room. There was hair in the bathtub, the refrigerator and the bed. I will not be staying there again.

Was a clean room with friendly staff.

It was smelly and the walls were scuffed and carpet ripped. They didn’t have any air on in the room when we got there.

Pool was under repair. Breakfast had a sign that the warmer for hot food was out of order. Very little to chooses from.

Never got room service

Front desk area was hot and not a relaxing atmosphere. No guest receptionist, had to wait for several minutes for someone to show up to check me in. Halls going to rooms were hot and stuffy. No ice machine on the floor, had to go to front lobby to get ice. Elevator didn’t feel very safe and was pretty beat up. Front desk receptionist not very pleasant. I will have to be very desperate to stay here again.

It was convenient. The lady who checked us in did a great job.

It was just horrible for my first time being your with my family it was bad experience at the hotel crackheads walking in the street rooms not having enough towels and I put on your how many people was going to be in the room no trash bags they gave us Walmart bags don't try and do not work the air unit did not work at night it kicked in once the sun came up we had a 3-day tonight vacation there we did not stay our second night we packed our stuff up and we left and went back home

Friendly staff, clean rooms.

I have been a fan of Baymont for a long time. I actually have spent many nights across the country in a room with the name Baymont on the sign. However I was terribly disappointed with the facility and the staff. My card was overcharged. When I tried to get it corrected I was met with a less than cordial attitude. My issue still has not been resolved.

We needed to cancel our stay and I couldn’t even reach anyone at the hotel. I left a message and never heard back. I was still charged.

Well our stay was terrible from check in! The manager it who checked us in. She was the most unprofessional rude condescending human I have ever dealt with ever. We were coming off a 10 hour drive we were exhausted. We called ahead of time to make sure the pool was open we were informed at check in that we were given false information. As she checked out res. She stated because we paid on line we had to leave a CASH DEPOSIT OF $100. Was fine leaving the deposit but didn't understand why it had to be cash thank goodness we had cash on us. We checked in and proceeded to our room. At every property we check to make sure it clean and no bugs.... Well there were not bug in out room but the bath room ceiling was falling on and our pillow cases had stuff all over them. I went to the front desk to ask for a replacement pillow case in hand. But I was informed by the "manager" she dose not have a key to access them so I had to go buy my own. my daughter showered while I ran to wal mart. As soon as I returned to the room the pungent smell of dog pee smacked me on the nose mostly in the bathroom. We decided to go find a vending machine to get a soda we asked the manager if the had one and she stated they sold them there while this exchange was happening a little boy came in from out side playing with his siblings to buy a bottle of water with a $20 the manager first questioned him if he was even a guest asking his parents name and denied him the water he then said (REST IN PHOTOS)

Bathroom toilet soiled
