What a pleasant surprise the Baymont is! Fantastic views of the river, bed was so comfy, room was clean, staff (front desk and housekeeping) was super friendly, breakfast was simple and convenient, plenty of parking, convenient location. Would love to have a better channel selection on the TV but did not change my review. Have already told several people about it and it will be my new go-to place to stay when in Yakima.

This is a pet friendly hotel and I have stayed in several pet friendly hotels but the noise level of pets & people & nearby traffic was over the top.
I will not be staying here again.
The Mexican restaurant next-door however was awesome. Definitely recommend eating here if you are in the area..

the website said pool and hot tub with river view The only thing they had from the advertisement is river view and it is very nice. The hot tub was broken and the pool was empty

Well the checking in was great the room was great the daytime and evening staff were helpful, the Saturday morning man named Tony was a total ass, he yelled at guest and was disrespectful to most people who arrived a few minutes early for coffee, his behavior needs to be addressed!!

Id say it was average for a hotel, we didnt really talk with the staff. But they were nice and helpful. I wnjoyed the hot tub with my family, they were a bit disapointed the pool wasnt open yet. We got a nice view of fhe river and the beds r comfy. My nephew wants to know their pillows and sheets he loved them. The waffles were good and fluffy and the price was affordable foe our stay. It was conveniant that it was so close to a grocery store.

The hotel is dated and tired, but clean and comfortable. The river view (and ambient sound) was nice. Shower/bathroom was dark and the shower head could be replaced. Overall, a fine choice, but don’t expect a modern hotel.

Appears to be an older property and you can hear your neighbor sneeze. You can hear you neighbors above you as well. Insulation could be better. But I will say staff is friendly and my room was CLEAN!!!
