Best Western Annapolis

This hotel was terrible, the area was sketchy. There were roaches. The deadbolt on the adjoining door was broken. The person at the desk was not helpful. We booked for two nights and left after the first night.

Parking lot was clean lobby was clean gym was clean… room smelled like one of those hotel rooms that were built in the 60s and people smoked in them for years and they never got the smoke smell out of the walls. The beds and pillows were small not two queens more like full-size beds. I was surprised at the room because I’ve always liked best western but this was below par

Was as expected

Black mold in corners of tub. Door could see light through. Huge amount of dust on wall where luggage rack was. Shampoo cap was crooked on it and clearly used. Room was smoke smelling. Doors are exposed to outside and walls are thin so you hear everyone going by and all the highway traffic.

Comfortable budget friendly hotel

Hotel was OK for an overnight stay. Breakfast was adequate.

We booked a hotel with a pool specifically because of the pool. Shortly after checking in we learn the pool is closed for the season. I would have paid more to stay somewhere with a pool that was open. I would not have reserved a room here if I knew there was no pool. A closed pool is as good as no pool. The place is generally run down. There are dried boogers on my bathroom door. There is a spider carcass hanging from the vent fan grate. Door jamb is cracked. If it wasnt for the advertised pool, I would never have considered this place. Staff was nice enough - no complaint there. But ive stayed in nicer places for less than half of this price. Ive stayed in nicer places with a pool for less than half of this price. I am pretty disappointed. At least it has a bed, as advertised. So we got half of what i paid for!

Check in easy, breakfast very good, staff very good, rooms updated and clean, some tlc needed but overall a good place to stay, convenient to everything. Bathroom fan should have separate switch, very loud, air conditioner loud also. Thats about it. Nice job Best Western

No what I was expecting, I thought this was a hotel at the price, it isn’t, it is a motel. Couldn’t sleep with the light outside all night and no proper curtains.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent breakfast, much better than I expected. Didn't like flooring, prefer carpet.

I had a great experience at Best Western Annapolis. I only needed the room for one night, and it was perfect clean, comfortable, and with plenty of space. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming, which made check-in smooth. The pricing was great, and I appreciated that the deposit was only $50. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but I wish I had! Overall, no complaints at all I’d definitely stay here again.

This was the most comfortable mattress and pillows we’ve had in a long time! Our room was relatively clean - no spare hairs, clean towels and linens, but there were boogers on the wall and the floor was sticky around the toilet. The room smelled like weed when we walked in - this could have been our neighbors or the people that had stayed before us. The provided breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it there was plenty to choose from and remained well stocked.

A little dated but still clean! Quiet location.

It's not the worst experience I've ever had, but there were problems, and I would not stay here again. 1) the first room I was given (in a back building) was smelly when I entered, had a a/c unit that was so loud it would've kept me up, but worst of all, I checked the bed and there was evidence of bed bugs. Called Expedia to change hotels, but they insisted I should try to work it out, so the front desk gave me a room in a different building. This room was much better: no sign of BB; in fact, the mattress was completely encapsulated. Slept fine. Had breakfast and checked out. Got food poisoning symptoms within 22 hours of breakfast. I only at the precooked egg omelet, a bagel, and yogurt, so I think the culprit was the yogurt machine -- something I've never seen before and will not ever use again. No idea how that thing works. The one bright spot of the stay was the amazingly courteous and professional front desk employee, Sonaya (sp?). It is rare to find someone as polite, professional and competent as her in hospitality these days. And she was of the younger generation, which was even more shocking. She was top notch and deserves to work at a better hotel.

The room was comfortable for sleeping and showering. I had a fridge and microwave. I stayed one night and would stay again.
