Best Western Dunkirk & Fredonia Inn

Convenient location; quiet even though next to NY Thruway. No elevator for 2nd floor rooms, only refrig in room, no microwave. Limited breakfast. Carpet dirty; did not appear to have been vacuum between guests.

Our stay was wonderful! My only complaint is that they closed the indoor pool during the thunderstorms, so we were unable to enjoy the pool.

We found our room very clean and comfortable and would recommend this hotel. We would stay again if in the area.

Pool and hot tub were not in working order and the bed was absolutely horrible

The Hot Tub has not worked once in the four years my daughter has been going to the college there. The hotel Needs an update and some of the staff need a better attitude

A very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and it was great to be so close to stores and restaurants.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was a bit lumpy but not too bad.

The person at the time of check in was very friendly and attentive, however the room was dusty and outdated.

Needs updating desperately! Noisy heater. Paper thin walls and doors. No comforts like lotion or extra blankets and pillows. Wait at front desk for receptionist to finish smoke break.

We loved the area around the hotel everything u could need was all very close by but curb appeal and ease of access to everything could b nicer. The hotel needs many updates. The beds were super uncomfortable. My daughter picked up a towel that she dropped when we 1st arrived and upon picking it up it was filthy like the area hadnt been moped or cleaned in a while. I would never pay the top price for them as it was more motel than it was hotel. We did pay a higher price for convenience of location to a gymnastics meet and for the pool and spa. The hot tub was not working the pool could b better cleaned. The bathroom was small and the tub had little water pressure and drained extremely slow. However, the lady when we checked in was very friendly and welcoming but that was the only staff we seen during our stay. We did not get a chance to try the breakfast as we had 2 leave early for gymnastics meet but it looked delicious with quite the variety. Will not stay again next year when we retun to the area.

Very friendly staff. Room was very clean a d more than I expected. Highly recommend staying at this facility. Definitely staying here again.

The stay was OK, I’m originally from the area so I know the hotel well. my only issue was the amenities ,website clearly states pool and hot tub when I checked in, note on the pool door saying spa was down. I was in the town eight months earlier same note if they’re not gonna fix it they should remove the amenities from the website

Hot tub is out of order and has been for months now but is amenity on website. It was the reason we chose the hotel. Mattress on bed was horrible. I could feel the metal from the platform. Multiple guests also complained about ice on sidewalks even though they had buckets of ice melt by exit doors. I think they expect guests to do it

I had a great stay, the staff were generous and polite and the environment was, quiet, clean and safe

Nice staff and clean place

The bed frames were noisy...not enough to wake anyone up, but enough to find very annoying. The parking lot and driveway could have used a little more plowing/salting.
