Watertown BW’s front entrance to the lobby was dated, no “wow” factor & not as accessible if you’re wheelchair bound (which we are not) but inside was bright & clean. Our check-in person, Raynor, was businesslike & efficient, he invited us to partake of the coffee, tea & cookies near the reception desk. They also provide water infused with fruits like oranges & strawberries—quite refreshing—in a dispenser by the breakfast area. Raynor did steer us to a list of restaurants nearby—got pizza at Cam’s & it was good as advertised. Our room was close to the lobby—spacious, clean with a king bed & the usual amenities. It was quiet, not many guests judging from the parking lot—it was a Monday night. I noticed that there was no secure entrance, i.e., anyone could have entered by the back door without a key. The breakfast next morning was quite good—the moist scrambled eggs, though undoubtedly from a carton, were prepared well as were the turkey sausage & regular sausage. Besides the usual cereals, yogurt, bagels, bread & fruit there was a waffle maker—all of it looked decent. They even offered Silk Milk & 2% milk. The coffee is good & strong. Gary is a friendly employee who took care of stocking food & cleaning up in the breakfast room. I also saw an employee who may have been the cook. Breakfast hours are 6:30-9:30. The tables are in the lobby separate from the breakfast room, but not far. The hotel could pay attention to the dying plants in the window by the tables.

Upon check-in, was told the room I reserved and was confirmed was not available. Was given a single king size bed when I requested (and was confirmed) a double. There seemed to be an attempt to find another room, but they then claimed they were fully booked, although the parking lot was hardly full. The next morning, the shower wasn't working either which was frustrating. The staff was exceptional until I requested another room. All in all, a really disappointing experience.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but the eggs were not very hot but I was there just before closing. Bed comfortable, heating and a/c worked fine. Room was quiet.

The door to my room didn't work properly but I was told it was a known issue. Apparently known issues don't get resolved at this hotel

its a very old,run down property downtown. but it was a clean room, and very good,extensive breakfast.

In the morning my friend found a bed bug in her bed. She immediately went to the front desk and had the employee come to our room to see it. Our room was just around the corner from the front desk. He saw it moving and took a picture of it. We asked for some garbage bags to put our stuff in. He said that he would talk to his manager and send him up to our room. I heard him speaking to the manager but couldn’t make out what was said as our door was still slightly open because my friend had wedged it open when she ran to get the front desk clerk earlier. 15 minutes later still no manager, we just wanted to get out of there so we grabbed our garbage bags and went to the front desk. The manager was at the desk and acted as if he had no idea what happened. My friend said that there was bed bugs and he told her to not say that so load and acted as though that was impossible. Actually mentioned that a guest must have brought it in, ie us! We asked him where the employee was that took the picture, he said that they were not there and he had not told him anything. Lies! He said we could look up the hotel and we would not find anything about bedbugs there, they simply didn’t have them. We looked later and found many reviews contradicting him. I did get a full refund but I am absolutely disgusted not only by the bedbugs but by the management’s behaviour and flat out lies! The employees were great, very helpful and respectful. Management sucked! I’d give 0 stars if possible!

Smelled like mold, I ending up paying for a room I didn’t even stay in the for night because I couldn’t stand being in the room for more than 15 minutes. I tried to love this location because the staff were extremely nice and professional. I ended up booking another hotel and left the premises right after I checked in. My health is more important than anything.

I didnt get to go due to a family emergency.

Me stay good. We did have an issue with outside lights disturbing us overnight as the curtains did not cover the whole window.
