Very clean. Basic. No decor to speak of. Screened windows are appreciated to avoid turning on air conditioning. But good to have when needed.
Also, we appreciated the sports bar and grill next door, as well as its proximity to the Storm King Arts Center.

We were very pleased. The room was clean, the AC, microwave and fridge worked great, parking was perfect. We would stay again.

The property owners were friendly and attenative. We had a leak in our bathroom and they moved us to a new room immediately when it wasnt a simple fix. They were quick to respond to the issue too. The first room with the leak the beds were rock hard but the room we gor moved to was much nicer with softer beds. It certainly isnt a luxury stay but a descent place to rest your head for the night.

The hotel is cheaper than most in the area, but a good value. There are no in-room amenities such as coffee or a coffee maker. The place is a bit dated but they do their best to keep it up.

Everything was ok but the door never locked properly, to the point that I had to take all my belongings with me one morning when going to work because there was no one at the reception desk to assist me and it just wouldn´t lock.

The place reeked of weed. The sink leaked water. The bathroom pipes were old and rusted and the mattresses had almost no padding at all. The place was cheap but at the very least, have a decent mattress for me to sleep on.

The Cadet Motel was the most affordable motel in the area and was close to fast food restaurants in nearby New Windsor and close to Highland Falls and West Point south on Highway 9W. The room offered two double beds and a satisfactory bathroom.
