Good location and hotel facility

No breakfast provided but with a full kitchen facilities, we can cook breakfasts whatever we like. Free laundry facility is an added bonus. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Price is very reasonable.

I and my wife stay here for 2wks. The facility of kitchen fulfill our most requirement. It's very convinent to stay here since there are a couple of markets nearby the hotel. It's quiet and clean. We feel confortable just like stay at home. I look forward to staying here for long time again.

Very nice and helpful staff

Was criticized by front desk staff for booking through expedia. Was told several times that they don't like it when people book through expedia or third party apps. Was moved to a double queen after booking a king. TV didn't work and the elevator was scary.

Very clean and well appointed rooms

The elevator was slow and almost felt like it would breakdown anytime, no breakfast was a downer, but the room was very nice.

The dishwasher was broken and the threshold flooring to the bathroom was missing. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

I loved the location, only minor complaint was hotel told me they cannot do wake up calls morning calls. I thought this was interesting statement to make during IConverge with amount of attendees

The staff was outstanding, and the accomodations were perfect. Very clean and roomy!

Everything was wonderful, friendly staff, clean and very comfortable.

I was not able to get tub bench in handicapped room because clerk at desk forgot when I asked the first time and second time I asked she said she did not know where it was. I discussed this with manager at hotel.

The motel was off the main streets so there was a lot less traffic. The staff was amazing--so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The housekeepers did a great job keeping the whole place very clean. All in all, it was a great experience and we will be back!

Convient

The room was clean, spacious and inviting. The bedding and mattress were comfortable. There’s complimentary- fresh ground coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The staff was friendly and helpful!

There was alot of items in our room that were broken. The furniture was dirty and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The bathroom needs updating and it was alot of noise outside of our 1st floor room. The price per night was very high considering the look of the place. And, they didn't offer any compimentary breakfast of any sort.

Well to say I was not happy with the hotel bc of the cleaning crew knocking when I clearly displayed the do not disturb. Called the front desk and it happened AGAIN! I called the front desk AGAIN and he was not happy with his employees not following instructions. The gentleman at the front was very sorry and apologized for the mistake. He said he called hotels.com and requested a 25% refund. I have yet to see that. But if that does come through. I would feel confident in returning to the hotel. I'm sure they're better places to stay and if you want to afford the price difference then I would stay Marriott.

Candlewood is in a nice location of Champaign. Everything is easily accessible either by foot or car. The one thing we did not enjoy was the bed itself. Very uncomfortable, it just seemed like an old mattress and we could feel the springs. The frame was loose and made a lot of noise.

We had a very pleasant evening and morning at the Candlewood. Exactly what we needed: microwave to heat up dinner and coffee in the morning in the room. Countertops were nice in bathroom and kitchenette, big refrigerator and dishwasher. Better than average some cotton sheets! Staff very friendly and heloful.
