Candlewood Suites MANHATTAN by IHG

Staff was great it was clean and quiet. AC worked great.

Some stuff didn’t work in my room, or was not fully attached so they “broke” during my stay. Floormates were noisy but that’s not on staff or the hotel. But in a good location and I liked the space I had in the suite to cook, if I could, and microwave and had a fridge!

Love the stay at Candlewood Suites Manhattan. Staff was friendly. Great location. Quiet room. I loved no daily room service, felt more private. Magnets for communication on door were a fun touch!

They have tv but if you are wanting to use cable good luck? They do have movies downstairs to play in dvd player in the room.

This is my favorite place to stay when I come to visit my daughter at Kansas State. It’s wonderful to have a kitchen, the bed is really comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. We were there for one night but I would definitely return. I would give the beds 3 out of 5 (a little firm for me) There is no breakfast, however, little convenience store was nice (a little pricey $2.50 for a cheese stick) and wish they had half & half for the coffee. The 2 desk agents we met were exceptionally nice! They did a wonderful job making us feel welcomed.

Great location and awesome room! Only downside is they seem a bit understaffed so they only offer housekeeping if you stay more than 7 nights. Check in was also very slow.

Lots of parking and close to where I needed to go.

We have stayed here several times, but the last two times we’ve left disappointed. This weekend, our tv didn’t work so we missed the big game. I asked for help at the front desk, was told the next person on duty (arriving in 3 hours) could help, but I never heard from that staff member. Our AC would not get the room cold as we like it although we had the thermostat all the way down to 65. It was still approximately 70 degrees. The WiFi was lagging so bad it was hard to stream the game or do any work online. Unfortunately, we had already made reset for two future weekends at this property and we’ve been informed that if we cancel, we forfeit the entire cost of the reservations of $400 . We’re not happy! We will not be staying here or recommending this hotel to our friends and family. Loyal IHG customers, but we will be booking elsewhere from now on.
