Front desk staff was pleasant. It was the off-season so most things were shut down which we knew when we booked. Would stay here again room was clean and nice.

Close to beach. Staff was excellent. Really enjoyed the food at the bar and all the employees at the bar were exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel!

Our bed had stain on it, room had moldy smell, floor had sands when walking we can feel it.

It was not over crowded at the time of our stay at the end of September - October. Facility grounds, pool was always clean. Onsite Restaurant closed. Many restaurants close by!! My family and l would stay here again!!

It had a mold smell the bed and pillows were trouble .The beds sagged in the middle .

The unit you get at this property are owned by individuals so the quality of the unit is a reflection of the effort the individual owners put into it. Our unit was very dated, limited kitchen supplies (dishes, etc). furniture was old in the living room, bed were comfortable. Shower faucets were hard to use to turn shower on. TV in the bedroom was live TV with a remote that only allowed channel and volume change. I would not stay in this unit again.

Wonderful stay with my family. The room layout worked great with being able to close the doors to the bedroom and the kitchen to keep a one year old from roaming.

My family and i have been staying at Carolina Winds for years when we vacation. We've never been disappointed They're a clean and safe hotel.

We loved the location. The staff and other customers were friendly. The “room” was more a small condo. I liked walking into a living room rather than a bedroom. The living room had a couch that would also make into a bed. The bedroom was separate from the living areas and kitchen. It had ample room and two queen beds. The bedroom was complete with a closet, dresser,and nightstand. We loved how the bathroom had a separate area from the bathing and restroom facilities. The tub/shower area was a little small, but it’s for using the restroom and showering. Overall the place was ideal for us and would be ideal for those wanting a full refrigerator and kitchen. The kitchen was between the bedroom and living room. It had a full size refrigerator . The kitchen was fully stocked with a few pots and baking sheets. Plenty of silverware and utensils even a variety of knives. The stove with oven and microwave completed the kitchen. Definitely will reserve again!

The room was outdated ..beds was like sleeping on a concr pad ..musty smell inside the room ..outside room caroets was very dirty and smelled like cat urine

Nice location, right next to the beach. The place has seen better days. The room was ok, but looked old. We had nice view on the beach but the balcony was flooded due to the leaking AC. Some of yhe plates and pans were dirty and the Dishwasher liquid that was supplied was a joke (likely the smallest possible size.....). Beds were a bit sagging. Desk staff looked bored and were not very helpful.

WE could not get the phone to dial local numbers. We even called the front desk to find out to dial 9 first but it did not seem to work despite us trying everything. The place and pool were great.

I was very pleased with the warm welcome and clean environment! I have come to myrtle beach a couple times before and this hotel was by far my favorite so far. We had an ocean view room on the 8th floor and it was absolutely beautiful! Thank you Carolina winds! My family and I had an amazing time and enjoying our stay!

When we checked in, we were not welcomed or told anything. The only thing we were asked is how many people were in our party to get bracelets for the pool and how many keys we needed. The room that we stayed in was dated. I could live with that had it not been dirty. The floor was dirty and it seemed as though something had possibly been spilled on it. The room had a weird smell - possibly bug spray. The shower curtain had mold on it and the bedspread had what looked like a Kool-Aid stain on it. As we were leaving for the afternoon we stopped at the desk to see if housekeeping could clean our room and replace the shower curtain. The lady working there looked at me like I was crazy. She told me that she thought the housekeepers had already left for the day (it was 3:30 pm). She asked another worker about the housekeepers and she thought that someone was still there but gave no indication if they were going to clean the room or not. We did learn that housekeeping does not clean the room until you check out. Upon returning to the room, we did find that a new shower curtain had been put in. We had to purchase a Swiffer to keep our floor clean and a room deodorizer to get rid of the weird smell. Both mattresses had certainly lived their life long ago. They were absolutely horrible. The pools and the location of this place were great, but that really was the only positive.

The property’s location was convenient to shopping and entertainment as well as a few steps to the beach. The pools were great and so was parking. However, it needs some updating and cleaning. The hallways to get to apartments were in dire need of replacement and cleaning on a daily basis. Suite was not the cleanest, but location and price was good.

Reserved 2 bedroom, but received 3 bedroom at checkin (same cost). Wonderful view. Rooms were clean. The location was great. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Its a decent place to stay..my main thing is the beach view if u dont get the king rooms you gonna end up with a angle view of the beach which sucks. Be aware to all that stay here about that..angle view sucks!!! Over nice pool...decent!!

The place was clean and we have a large bedroom and living Room. The beds were very confortable.Kitchen had averything we needed. The view of the ocean on the balcony was great. Pools are open til 11 pm! A lot of parking! I will come back again for sure!

Very clean but in desperate need of updates.

The room was filled with the smell of mold. Underneath the kitchen sink you can see where there was water damage because the cabinetry was warped, had buckled, stained and smelly. The tub/shower had built up dirt residue from not properly being cleaned. The sofa was old leather, worn down with tears. The dark old decoration oasis is horrible and makes it creepy. The linen and old outdated cheap bed blankets were disgusting and filthy and hadn't been changed with stains. The mattresses were thin and super uncomfortable. The low watt dollar tree lightbulbs in the bedroom was so dim I had to keep the dirty drapes open to get adequate lighting to see. The telephone looked liked food and some kind of drink had spilled and dried on it. The refrigerator hadn't been cleaned out. The stove/oven was clean. The frying pan had old food dried in it. It was terribly disappointing, disgusting, and it's ashame that people falsely market their establishments to cheat paying customers out of so much money. But they too pathetic to invest a small percentage to keep their property up to code, clean, and comfortable for the ones their ripping off. Good luck to the next tenants.
