The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars overall is due to the lack of working vending machines. I went in search of a quick snack and couldn’t find a working vending machine. One machine would only take cash, but then didn’t. The other had the electronic pay, but wouldn’t allow me to make a selection.

Had a bad surprise at check out: I knew about an extra parking fee which they also taxed (which was around $17), but they also charged a destination fee for $28. Nobody (including them) knows what that means. What is a destination fee? I ended up paying an extra $45 which I wasn't expecting.

I enjoyed the pool and the pool side rooms. The parking was not as easy as it should be. My parking ticket to let me in and out kept expiring and I would have to keep going to the front desk to get a new one. That was a little cumbersome. The food at the restaurant was ok, but wish there were more options for healthy dishes. I would love to see espresso served on site to enjoy each morning. The rooms were clean, but the service of the rooms was not that great. They didn't even wipe the counters, make beds etc. They only replaced towels and cups.

Overall, my stay at the Centennial was pleasant. While the hotel appears to be slightly understaffed—evident from the slow check-in process—Tawnee at the front desk was incredibly helpful and made the experience more enjoyable. That said, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement:
Elevator Issues:
The elevator was extremely slow and unreliable. Fortunately, there were stairs nearby, which helped mitigate the inconvenience.
Dining Experience:
The food was high quality, but the service left much to be desired. Although the sign indicated to seat myself, I waited at my table for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged by any staff. Eventually, I moved to the bar to order. Staff seemed inattentive and service was noticeably slow throughout the experience.

I like everything about this place except the glaringly cheap paper products. Come on, single ply toilet paper that resembles the paper you stuff in a gift box, or come in a box of shoes. Those that order this cheap stuff are obviously putting the bottom line ahead of customer comfort. They should be required to use it at home to understand what a failure it is. Really, we stay here for the bed, which is outstanding.

Hotel is dated and overall pretty dirty. Someone had thrown up outside of the door and it wasn’t cleaned up for over 24 hours. Location is good, but hotel needs to be renovated and parking is tough. There are very few spaces available left at night.
