Our check-in process was uncomfortable, as the supervisor on duty was embarrassing the receptionist who checked us in. I did not notify the receptionist that we brought our fur baby so we were booked on the wrong floor, easy fix, my mistake. The supervisor ushered us back to the front desk and stood over the poor receptionist as she changed our room. I asked her why she was being rude to her and standing over her shoulder, I'm sure she was more than able to change the room appropriately. she replied, "I'm her supervisor and I want to ensure she does it right". The receptionist did not seem new, and she checked us in perfectly with no issues. The supervisor was not friendly to us, I can only imagine how she behaves when guests are not around.

An interesting place, a very large and spacious property. Great for walks. The hotel was a little maze like and the front desk unimpressive. Directions to our room were confusing. Beds were comfy and rooms clean. Pool was closed while we were there which was sad. The breakfast Friday complete with an omelette station was fabulous. The staff member attending was lovely. Sat/Sun the omelette station wasn’t there food was good but standard the omelette station really raised it up.

We spent a bit of time looking for a hotel in this area through the years. We somehow stumbled upon this hotel by accident and I am not sure how we missed it before. We are so glad we did find this one.
The grounds are clean and nice. The rooms and common areas are very clean and welcoming. The included breakfast had a lot of great options to choose from. I feel its a good value for the money. All of the staff has been friendly and welcoming.

Overall we love staying at this location 4 miles from our son’s house. Although the rooms are worn and need deep cleaning, as well as a refresh, the public spaces in the hotel are outstanding. Barbara, Jocelyn and Ashanti at the Front Desk are A+. Nadine, Madhu & Sam in the Breakfast Bar are so friendly and helpful. The Bar is such a nice option for dinner. Nelly in Housekeeping is a lovely person but managing staff must be a real challenge since rooms are never that clean or sanitized. Examples: the baseboards and wall under the headboards have a layer of dust. When the bathroom is cleaned between guests the shower liner should be fresh and clean—we had to ask! Debris was under the bathroom vanity so you know the floor wasn’t cleaned. Suggestion: increase the number of Queen bed options vs so many rooms with Full beds, that would be a wise change. Just my 2 cents as a world traveler!

The restaurant and bar were closed. The heat in my room didnt work. They moved me to another room, but after waiting for maintenance folks to try and fix the problem. Basic accommodations.
