Clarion Inn Idaho Falls Riverfront

Curtain broken, tv inoperable, hall floor unswept,and more. Staff stated no room available (4pm) acct not cleaned. Tried to give a double queen instead of an ordered king...and the a king in another section instead of Riverview(extra charge). Staff tried hard to accommodate, but woefully untrained and unable to understand (language Barrier). Left without using room and went to another establishment.

Perfect for everything

Our bed was missing the bed skirt so there was a beat up board showing, chair in room was stained, we had to ask for toilet paper and soap. We requested towels and there was a ball of hair on one of them. Overall room condition felt like a prison room. They gave us a main level room and we couldn't have the curtains open due to the fact the parking lot was outside our window so no privacy. There were tourists busses with tons of tourists that would yell in the hallway early mornings when we were sleeping. The breakfast was overrun by tourists. We got coffee one morning and it was cold. There was never anybody at front desk.

Rooms were dirty with hair in the corners of the bathroom. The sliding door to the bathroom came off tracks multiple times. The heater had a terrible smell when turned on. Hallway floor was not vacumed in some time.

Nice setting. Room was clean except for bathroom. Mold on fixtures in bathtub area and no water to shower with. Got cleaned up in sink area which was very clean. We had a view

There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower. Dirt and grass all over the floor. Other than that was a good place to stay. Awesome views of the river and surrounding areas. Very relaxing

The location was great, but there are many many more hotels just next to it. The room was in horrible conditions, sheets were not clean, floors where dirty, shower and toilet not clean. They are nice, but nice doesn't cut it for me. There are many housing code violations that I can go over and over. I know that for the price I paid, I rather paid 50 dollars more and stay in a super very nice hotel! Again, great location, but horrible conditions.

The room was filthy. The floors weren’t clean, the toilet was nasty, there was crumbs everywhere. The drain smelt like rotten eggs. There was no mattress protector on the mattress. Just a sheet. It was not clean and we were not happy.

At first it seemed great. However- we soon learned the doors were loud and slammed in the hall all night long. Toilet ran non-stop. Appliances didn’t work. Outlets were loose, couldn’t keep the charger plugged into the wall. The microwave was unplugged, plugged it in, still didn’t work. No cords for the phone. The WORST was the harassment the next morning. Check-out at 11:00. At 10:00 housekeeping knocks on the door to see if we were ready to check out. They come back at 10:30 and knock again. I wasn’t feeling well. My husband packed our car and when he came back at 1045, our room keys had been deactivated. We checked out at 1055. It didn’t feel good-felt rushed.

Easy check in and free room upgrade. Located next to river front walkway. Close to restaurants and parks

Hot tub was broken and had been down awhile they said and it was the biggest reason we chose to stay there. The door latches were messed up and didnt want to always keep the main door shut. Ans staff was smoking por outside doors which pot isnt legal at all in Idaho so not sure why the hotel allowed it

Our room was next to a hallway/entrance so people coming in and out made loud noises in an echoing hall.

The breakfast was awful. Hotel sketchy. Do not recommend

Honestly this place is a dump not upgraded for years would never stay there again and do not eat at the steak house next door

Mold in the shower, hotel keys wouldn’t work. Had to go to the front desk 5 different times to get my keys reset. Pillows were nasty, garbage and nasty all over floor. Power kept going out. Super noisy

To start the front desk worker Katrina should absolutely be fired with how she treats customers and other employees. Our room wasn’t ready at 3 when checked in. The put us in a different bring them after telling us that it would be another 30 to 60 minutes before they had our room ready. The first room they put us in was absolutely disgusting things growing on the floor. It had not been cleaned at all. The second room we got put in was Okish cleaned, but had no smoke detector or fire suppressant in the room. She claimed it was the same rate as the room we reserved although the room we reserved was supposed to have a balcony in this did not. She absolutely refused to change the price to match the rim that she put us in. When we asked for extra towels and pillows, she gave major attitude and would only give us towels, not pillows. The breakfast here is not good at all. We had to get room keys several times because they would just quit working. The security is not good doors don’t always lock. The lights in the parking lot do not work at all so it’s pitch black when we had to take our service dog out to go potty. She also tried to charge us for our service dog and had no understanding of the laws that apply to a service dog. I will see the overnight shift Jacqueline front staff was great to deal with when there was a power outage. She handled it like an absolute pro. She after hearing everything we’ve gone through plus with the power outing did end up giving us a credit.

It was dirty had to change to 3 different rooms to find one that was somewhat acceptable.
