My wife and I were up in the Shawano area for the weekend, on our Harley with family and friend's. We stayed at the Cobblestone and had a great stay. The hotel room was clean, fairly priced, and the mattress and pillows were really comfortable! Good water pressure in the shower aslo! We will stay there again if in the area.

Very clean room and excellent front desk service

The room was quite spacious and clean. The on-site lounge was a bonus. Only negative - we were not told that you have to request housekeeping services. 3 night stay and no fresh towels or garbages emptied. When we inquired about this we were told you must request this to be done. Not a problem if we had been told that on check-in.

Price changed 3 times was 114 dollars online when i reserved it it went up to 200 something dollars when we got here she told us it was 282 that’s fine then it charged me 330 dollars, i get having additional fees but showing me 3 prices each time is crazy the hotel was not worth the price anyways.

Hotel is in a convenient location for visiting area attractions. It is quiet and well kept up.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a full size refrigerator, cook top, and dishwasher in the room, along with a roomy bathroom, living room area, and separate bedroom. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offerings were meh, but this seems to be the trend these days. My only complaint was that no one was available for checkout around 10am, even after standing there for about 10 minutes and ringing their "doorbell". Ended up just leaving, as I'm sore the other guests waiting behind me did also.

Loved this hotel. They have a really nice breakfast dining area. The beds are very comfortable.

This stay was a perfect reflection of the one thing I do not like about Hotels.com. I specifically tried not to get a handicap room and was put into one. the other is the "eco-trend" of not cleaning or maintaining the rooms daily. I understand not completely cleaning rooms daily, but for lords sake at least enter the room, change towels, and look at things to insure no damage is occurring. Even when we requested room cleaning the bed was not made or sheets changed, they did however leave plenty of coffee, and towels. In the case of handicap showers there is always an issue of water on the floor destroying the grout, a potential slip/ fall situation, and bacteria and mold growth possibility. The primary reason we chose this hotel was that the one we had stayed in many times in Shawano had degraded so badly the last time we were there. I would suggest ownership would, if they want to keep the property in good condition, have basics like this covered. We will stay here again, but we will know to ask and make sure we don't end up in a handicap room.

Confused, when I asked for a receipt at end of stay, was told the booking was thru Expedia and third party bookings do not get a receipt. Why wouldn’t we get a receipt? I signed a sheet with the rate, etc. when we arrived. They did not give me a copy of that.

Nice selection and reasonable prices for snacks and concessions. Beds arw on the soft side but nice rooms. Good internet. Eggs and meat option change daily and waffle maker.

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. We were staying for 7 days so we got a room with a kitchen. Unfortunately the kitchen was ill equipped. There was 3 of us in the room and there was only 2 forks 1 butter knife and a potato peeler. There was one small frying pan and one big pot to cook with but the was no cooking utensils. We had to go out and by plastic silverware and cooking utensils. There was plenty of bowls plates and and endless amounts of wine and whiskey glasses. Other than that, our stay was pretty good.
