Fine place to stay in Fruita. Staff was friendly, pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was good. Blackout curtains and comfortable beds.

We’d stayed here before and looked forward to staying here again. Unfortunately we were given a room right next to the elevator and were told there was no other room available.It wasn’t as restful or quiet as we wanted.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times throughout the past year. It’s been great each time!

Stays like a Motel. The biggest issue was that during my stay there was only lukewarm water in the shower.

Unfortunately our room was right next to the Elevator Shaft. So noise all hours of the night. Ended up with bug bites all over one leg after sleeping in the bed. Room 306.

Staff was competent. Bathroom issues, door wouldn’t close.

It was New Years Eve & pretty empty but she gave us the room right next to the elevator!

This is a dollar value hotel with many perks - quiet, clean, many close dining options, and roomy rooms.

Friendly staff and clean

The front desk staff was kind and helpful. We had dirty bed sheets that they gave us replacements (we had to make the bed ourselves). There isn't enough parking for the number of guests, so there is a gravel parking lot next door for overflow. They start putting away the complimentary breakfast food promptly at 9am per the owner's mandate, so if you are 1 or 2 minutes late, you will miss it. They provide tickets at check-in that are used for your free breakfast...maybe they had problems with outsiders coming in for free food. The hotel is older. There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance, a steakhouse and Mexican. We had the Mexican and recommend it.

More of a comment on the area in general - It's not a very walkable area. But it was convenient for my purposes, so that was nice. All the employees were lovely and helpful.

The sheets were dingy and my pillow smelled of spmeone else

It was fair, hallways smelled like urine, craftsmanship of border on flooring were uneven and toilet was old and had stains. Slept ok, felt the mattress springs. Towels were soft but too thin. There was an old washcloth in the bath tub that wasn’t ours.

It’s nice that they're making some minor upgrades, but the towels in the room are so old and gross. They smell faintly of bleach, but some of them are still sort brownish in some areas, and they’re so thin that they’re basically ready to be garage rags. The pillows were a joke, and so was the bed, which is weird because I’ve stayed her a few times over the last 5 years and always enjoyed the pillows and the bed. Lastly, I didn’t want the super loud heater kicking on and off all night so I turned it off and got a blanket out of the closet. I think that blanket might be older than me, and I’m 45! It had holes in it, awful brown color, I couldn’t tell if it had been washed or not. I reluctantly used it but kept it far away from my face. And like I said, I’m glad they got some new faucets and made an effort to try to spruce up the bathrooms, but whoever painted and caulked my bathroom was either drunk or had never done it before. Pics attached. Lastly, the second night, someone under me started chain-smoking cigarettes around 12:30 pm. This went on for about 2 hours. I’m not sure how the smoke was getting into my room, the hallway was clear. Fan off. But my repeated calls to the front desk would just end in a busy signal. Meanwhile, my eyes were burning as I tried to air-out my room while I should have been asleep. I will definetely be trying different options next time I see family out that way.

Very nice family running and possibly owning this Inn. Very friendly, helpful.They stayed on top of keeping the breakfast replenished and ckean up whenever something spilled or someone left a table. Room nice and clean.

Decent stay for an overnight stay. Only complaint was the walls are thin. We were on the second floor so you could hear kids running around on the floor above us and then our floor you could hear everything out in the hallways. Not really the hotels fault per say. Complimentary breakfast was standard
