Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Rushmore

Amazing breakfast! Staff was wonderful

We had a great and quick overnight stay at this hotel. Hotel is clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Place is very convenient to local attractions and close to Mt. Rushmore. The Sprockets restaurant next door is cool. The grilled cheese carnitas is the best sandwich ive ever had! Lol back to the hotel! Had to ring the bell to get service. Guy was friendly enough. Rooms were very dirty, and loud. AC was subpar and couldnt maintain temp. Parking is terrible and not adequate for the size of the hotel. You should have a parking spot for every room you have. Seems common sense to me.

Best area to stay while visiting Mount Rushmore.

The staff were very friendly and offered dining suggestions. The hotel is located withing easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Most comfortable bed we had on our road trip.

We stayed for 4 nights it was impressive and impeccably clean the pool and hot tub were very clean and warm , the breakfast was amazing and had a wide variety of food and even offered Gluten Free foods, there was always Coffee,Tea and yummy lemon water in the lobby available throughout the day. The rooms were very clean and finally a place with comfortable beds where you felt like you were home in your own bed. The lobby and rooms were beautiful and inviting and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. You can go wrong staying here.

Great property to stay at if your looking for closeness and confidence to the monument and surrounding attractions.

We had asked for a play pen for our toddler and we were brought a janky metal crib that had what appeared to be dead bugs on the crib sheets. We returned the crib right away. We were only there for 1 night and for breakfast in the morning my family and I showed up for breakfast 1 hr before it was over and they were out of waffle mix, I asked one of the ladies that was working the kitchen if we could have some more made and they refused and instead scraped the container to make half a waffle. There were 3 other families with kids that came down after us and had looked for waffles but no batter was ever made again. Plus their kitchen staff were on their phones and napping at one of the tables because somehow they didn't see the other families that came down.

The toilet had residue of something black. Black debris behind the toilet too. Faucet on the tub was defective…couldn’t turn it off fully. Shower current showed rust on the bottom. The sheer drapes blowing over the air conditioner were very dirty. Room smelled like dirty hair and feet. Bed was comfortable. Pillows smelly.

It was ok but comfort inn near mt Rushmore, hill city was much better. We stayed there for 1 night and wish we would have just stayed there. It was cleaner and the date was much friendlier. The area was also better.

Nice place to spend the evening and night before a visit to Mt. Rushmore.
