The only thing that upset me was that the plugs in the room either didn't work or only worked with the light on. My phone didn't charge all night.

At check in, the person at the front desk was friendly and the room was clean. However, the beds were firm and very uncomfortable which made it difficult to get a good night sleep. There were no blackout curtains so we were awoken early in the morning by the bright light coming through the window. Breakfast was terrible. The food was meager. There were dry sausages, scrambled eggs that look like yellow crumbs, dry and stale hash browns, the hard boiled eggs were rubbery and the coffee was tasteless. The hotel is located in a bad area. Also, at check in at around 3:00 pm, we saw a young men sitting on a couch in the corner of the lobby and left at about 11:00 pm when we returned to the hotel, This made us a bit nervous about leaving the hotel. During breakfast, a homeless individual walked into the breakfast area, loaded up a plate with food, and walked out thorough a side door. We will definitely be staying somewhere else the next time we visit Albuquerque.

We requested a second room as first was dirty and torn curtains, filthy couch. 2nd “renovated” room was better but obviously not renovated well. Old fixtures in bathroom. The front desk clerk was outstanding.

Property was under renovations so not in top condition. Room was a suite so we appreciated the extra space. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location was convenient as we had early reservation for the Sandia Tram in the morning.

Good service by staff. Good breakfast. T.v. was good. Clean room overall. A bit runned down tho. The room we stayed had carpet stains. Overall, better than the Comfort Inn on Alameda in Albuquerque.

You can tell that it is an older building that is being upgraded. If I hadn't had a dog with me, I would have been upset by the stained carpets, but as I did have a dog, it mattered less. Everything looked clean and did not have any bad smells. They could really improve by adding a dog area instead of rocks everywhere for dogs to eliminate. The bed was nice if a bit hard. The sheets felt like they were high quality. The AC in my room didn't work very well. It stayed overly warm even when set to 63 degrees.

For the price of the room, I expected better quality in the hotel, and more attention to detailed. A lightbulb was burnt out in the light fixture above the vanity sink, wifi was not working, breakfast area was extremely hot, not temperature controlled, cranberry juice was extremely watered down...tasted like plain old water.

The staff was very nice and always had ice water with fresh citrus in the lobby. These were the only good things about this property. The driveway to pull out to the main road had extremely limited visibility of oncoming traffic. There were renovation boxes stacked in front of the lobby door and we did not know that the property was undergoing renovations when we booked. Our room was visited by cockroaches twice and the toilet was recessed into the drywall which was NOT finished around it so that's probably how they got in. The light fixture in the sitting area started flickering on the last day we were there which seemed appropriate. The "gym" had several pieces of equipment that were very unstable and one that just didn't seem to work. The pool was too warm but we didn't go in because we had doubts about the cleanliness based on everything else we saw. In general this property is extremely rundown and is overdue for renovation. It was price competitive but we have no plans to return.
