Comfort Suites Gallup East Route 66 and I-40

We have always stayed here, and have enjoyed it. Close to favorite restaurant and the casino.

Bed had bed bugs and when talking with the front desk, they stated they couldn’t put me in a different room and that I couldn’t go bck to that room. Basically they didn’t help me. Jst gave me a refund and I left. Remind you, this was 1am in the morning.

Excellent place to stay. Wonderful breakfast and staff.

It was quiet for being so close to the hwy and train tracks. I was surprised. The room was nice clean and the breakfast was good!

I used Hotels.com thinking that it would be cheaper than booking on my own -- the price was the same -- the main reason I picked Comfort Suites was because the website indicated that there was a POOL -- when I checked in there is a sign indicating their POOL was out of order -- I mentioned this to the clerk who said the POOL has been out of order since OCTOBER 2024 and that the website has updated it's information

I did not feel welcome. Neither of the front desk staff made eye contact. When asked if there was a first-floor room, she answered, "No, it's full." A better answer would have been, "I am sorry, sir, our first floor is full." Second, the AC did not work; there was a loud noise coming from the unit. She told me to "turn it off, then turn it back on." Seriously! When I pressed her on it, she TOLD me that "I would have to come down and get a key." When I got the key, there was no apology for the inconvenience or any eye contact; you could almost taste the attitude. SHE should have brought the key to me. As a retired manager of Corporate Marriott Hotels, you need to teach your people basic communication soft skills. I would greatly encourage you to apologize. As far as the product itself, I liked it. Step up your game

Mold on the walls in our shower. Brought it to the attention of the front desk clerk. Doubt we will stay here again. Breakfast was bleak. Milk and coffee were only beverages provided; no juice.

Great place to stay on our road trip east. Conveniently located near I-40 with food options nearby. Clean and comfortable!

Everything was great but the jacuzzi and pool were either not working or still have covid restrictions. This is true for all hotels in New Mexico so please don't hold that against this establishment.

The room was disgusting, mattress appeared to have poop on it. Smelled of stale cigarettes and stained up carpet.

Alot of the stuff in the rooms are very warn out. The shower head wasnt working so it took us a long time to shower. The breakfast was not like other comfort inns i have been to. The lady who served breakfast was very nice and had great customer service.

Bottom of bathtub is slippery and the toilet was loose from the floor
