Comfort Suites Panama City Beach

Price was within our budget, breakfast & coffeewas good. Staff at check in could have been a little nicer, but over all nice place to stay

We enjoyed the stay very clean

everything was great.

I had a very lovley stay. The staff were so friendly and the overall envivoment was clean and comfy. My family and i enjoyed the pool aswell as their yummy breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

The personnel at the front desk were rude. They acted as if they were annoyed when we needed to speak to them. We had car trouble and requested a later checkout if needed. We asked the front desk that night after getting back to the hotel, and were told we would have to speak to the manager in the morning. They did give us an additional 30 minutes, but my wife heard them rudely talking about us to other staff. This took place in the lobby where other guests could hear them as well. What makes it worse was, this was the manager speaking about us. Also the lamps by the bed, the phone to call the front desk, and the microwave did not work. Also the pool was never stocked with towels, and when we asked the front desk for 5 towels. Because are a family of 5. We were told they only had 3 and were treated as if we were an annoyance. When we asked for additional towels for our room. We were told we would have to search the hotel to find the cleaning staff and get the towels from them, and we were told that we had to bring our used towels to the front desk. When we did all of that. We were told to put them in the floor by the front desk where they stayed for over 3 hours. I was incredibly disappointed by the actions of the staff especially management.

Shower did not work. Phone did not work. Staff was apathetic. Mattress should have been replaced months ago.

They attempted to charge my card at 8pm, before I even arrived, without my consent. It declined bc I was paying with a different card at check in when I got there. I arrived an hour later to try to check in and they had canceled my reservation. After a whole issue with that and no explanation on why it was done, once we officially checked in, the room we got was dirty. A used bonnet was in the pull out couch, brown sticky residue was on all the counter surfaces, dirt was in the beds, trash in the floor, etc. The pool cabinet rarely had any towels and the lights in the pool didnt turn on until after 11:30pm. We almost always had an issue with our key cards after leaving and coming back to our room. Our room had no blow dryer, and after a friend in another room said theirs had to be replaced bc it was broken, we asked for one for our room and was told they couldnt help us with that. Another friend in a separate room had to get their room changed due to at least 2 live roaches in their room. The lights in the hallway were leaking. We stayed an entire week due to our event and our group staying together at the location, but if this were a vacation with no strings attached we definitely would have left. They told us that they only charge for 1-2 days at a time rather than the 7 we had our reservation for, and after staying there I fully understand why. On a positive note, some of the staff were friendly, and the continental breakfast was a decent variety.

Our room smelled musty and felt damp the entire time. When we got home all of our clothes and suitcase had a musty smell to them. The continental breakfast was nice and the location was great.
