The hotel was fine for the price. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Definitely not luxury. The area was safe, quiet and walkable. Plenty of free parking. Plenty of dining options nearby.
My main complaint would be the bed. It was super hard.
The property is in need of a refresh. It’s very dated.
I would stay there again.

A fine stay for single night. The property has signs up that they are in the middle of renovations. Our room (king suite with hot tub) had not been updated yet, but it was fine with only cosmetic issues - cracked tiles, not perfect caulk & grout lines, etc. Only minor complaint is that there were several youth sport teams and families staying so it was loud and chaotic in the halls, pool, breakfast area. But that is more of an issue of poor parenting than the fault of the hotel.

Check-in was smooth & the front desk staff was friendly & very accommodating. Unfortunately, there was no mention of the renovations going on during our stay. The price for the overall state of the hotel & smell of the paint was a bit much in my opinion. The one detail which made this an okay experience was the attitude of the staff.
I cannot say enough about the politeness, care, & professional service from every member of the staff we encountered, from the front desk to the maintenance & housekeeping, all were very friendly & pleasant. The breakfast is well worth visiting, also. David ran a tight ship, keeping everything fresh & friendly, which made breakfast both days a fantastic experience.
I'll definitely wait until the renovations are complete, but I shall give this place another shot. It's in a good location & plenty of services are just minutes away.

The first room we were in the air conditioner the belt sounded like it was going, they quickly put us in a new room. The second room the bed was hard as all get out. The staff there is friendly and in honesty if the bed was more comfortable we would always choose this hotel. We come to Peoria 2-3 times a year.

The pool and hot tub were closed due to a problem with the ceiling. This did not appear to be a new issue, so I wish they had notified us in advance to give us the option to book elsewhere. The beds were concave in the middle and none of us slept very well, but the rooms were clean and reasonably quiet.

The amount that I paid with a secret fee was told in advance about construction being worked on wt rhe hotel. There was a group of teen boys who where unsupervised that took away relaxation

Overall not a great stay. They are in the process of updating their hotel but we had a lot of issues in the room. One of the TVs didn’t work, other TV cable kept going out, dresser drawers would not stay shut, and they had no pillows or blankets for the sofa bed where my kids were sleeping. A couple positives: staff were friendly, not busy at all, pool open til midnight, and free cookies.

I didn't know they were working onbthe hotel during my stay. I didn't like the fact that we had a ride to our event and then in the middle of our event we get a call saying we can't pick you up we have to get someone else. Why didn't they tell us before they took us so we couldn't enjoy the rest of the event had to worry about getting back to the hotel. The bed was very firm and off centered. The only good thing was the breakfast. It was really good.
