Courtyard by Marriott Atlantic City Beach Block

When we arrived to check in we were told there was no hot water for the whole property and apparently they had not had hot water for a few days, so why guest with reservations weren’t contacted via email or other communication beforehand is beyond me. We checked in because it was late afternoon and didn’t want to try to find a new hotel that day. We should have just left because things went from not good to terrible very quickly. One of our rooms the tub/shower clearly wasn’t cleaned bc there was a dirty rag and debri in it. They moved our room and in there the dirtiness continued as the sink counter was nasty. By this point my baby was asleep and we then found a bug on the pillow my son was sleeping on. I called down and they told me I could check out then without being charged but my baby was already sleeping and it was late. We stayed but proceeded to find a total of 3 bugs between both rooms. The property itself is definitely run down looking and definitely not what we expected from a Marriott property. We checked out the next morning and got a new hotel and while they didn’t charge us for the 2 nights we didn’t use they still charged us full price for the one night. Believe me it was not a good night. Just be very aware before booking here.

They had no hot water and no one was willingly ready to further or accommodate with a refund.

The room was clean and well taken care of. However, I had no hot water for my shower in the morning. There was no outlet for the coffee making except for in the bathroom. There was no parking for me when I arrived back at the hotel at night. Maybe this was due to an uncontrolled entry into the parking lot with parkers that were not staying at the hotel.

Had no WiFi for 2 days and no hot water for 2.5 days and all they wanted to compensate me was $100. I’ve stayed here before but I will never again.

Proximity to th Boardwalk

Cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in Atlantic City. Decent price.

The property itself was wonderful! The surrounding area was not great but the hotel doesn’t have control over that. It was clean and organized in the room and all of the staff were very polite. We’d definitely stay there again!

Usually I can get 2 parking passes and this time I was only allowed 1 and told I had to park my friend car in the parking lot a crossed the street. I found this to be unacceptable.

Short walk to boardwalk and amenities.

Everything was excellent. We was there earlier then our checking hour but still they managed to give us the room .

I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. I did have once concern but the assistant manager handled it in a professional manner and addressed my concern with respect and care. Everybody is nice and takes good care of you! If you’re in Atlantic City stay here and enjoy it’s cozy the beds are so comfortable and it’s safe.

My room wasn't very well cleaned hair all over the tissues box and toilet seat not all the towels were clean no soap or hand towels tv didn't work I have stayed at many Marriott Hotels and have never encountered anything like this ! I personally would never stay here again and to make it worse hotel guests have to pay 18 dollars to park there vehicle outdoors in the parking lot .

It was ok

I booked this hotel by name Marriott but it was horrible experience during the stay . No AC whole night . Irresponsible front desk , they are not at all available for any help .Dialed them multiple times in hotel for help but no one responded during the night time . I went directly to the front desk but no one was available there. We left our medicines in refrigerator and called them multiple times but no props response received from them. So we drove back to hotel for four hours and front desk didn’t respond and was not helpful for our items to to check. This is one of the worst experience in this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Hotel! From check-in to check-out, the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day. I especially loved the modern amenities, including the cozy lounge areas, the well-equipped fitness center, and the inviting outdoor space. The on-site café made grabbing breakfast or a coffee super convenient, and everything was fresh and delicious. Location-wise, it was ideal — close to restaurants, shopping, and everything I needed during my trip. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend the Courtyard Hotel. Can’t wait to come back!

15 mins walk from the boardwalk but not a great area.

Very clean property itself. The surrounding area needs a lot of updating. Not an area I would spend a whole weeks vacation

Was convenient and a quality hotel for less money than staying at the casino where we had show tickets.
