Courtyard Fort Walton Beach-West Destin

It was in the Offseason. Great People at the Hotel and the Breakfast there was Great. We Loved it

Hotel was nice and very friendly staff. One of the elevators has been down for months. Don't understand the holdup.

It was very clean, nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

The fart fans in 2 rooms made noise, the toilets cycled because of bad valves. Mattresses were completely worn out and hurt my back, legs, shoulders.

Courtyard is a good hotel. Housekeeping services were hit & miss with half the days skipped during my stay. Overall, a good accommodation.

Dining staff was terrible. Upon arrival, we were given a credit for breakfast for three that we did not ask for, but was offered as a conp due to our room not being a full ocean front view as we paid for. The next morning upon attempting to redeem the comp, the staff at the dining area at first refused to honor the comp and then insisted it was only for two regardless of the fact that the card had a #3 on it. The two women were very dismissive and defensive when all they had to do was contact hotel management. After about 20 minutes of treating us like crap, they finally did just that and told me. When our food was ready, they set it down in front of us. Not one word. We took it to go because that environment was not one we needed to be in if we were going to enjoy our very short vacation. As a single mom who works 50 hours a week and takes only very brief "vacations" a year, I don't want my kids having to deal with people who clearly don't belong in the hospitality business. I worked in the business for several years. You don't treat repeat customers like that. We likely won't be staying at Courtyards anymore after this xp.

Great stay, right by the beach. Hotel has its own plank walkway to the beach.

Ice machine on each floor always out of ice

Great hotel. We stayed here the night before our check in for our vacation hotel because we got into town a day early. Will definitely stay again

I paid 200 a night but that dam ice machines yes all of them was out of ICE! Just not good

Hotel is in great shape. Love the in house Italian restaurant although I wish they still had live music daily or at least on weekends

Lovely place and friendly staff

We arrived early for our check-in time. We went inside to make sure that it was ok for us to park while we waited for our room to be cleaned. Staff was nice and gave us a pass and told us a time on when we could expect to get into our room. We were not allowed to check in until 4 hours after the time we were originally told...while we sat in the parking lot.

Excellent view & easy access to beach.

Overall experience was great. Perfect spot for the beach. Only one elevator was working and it was a busy weekend so that was a bummer.

Great stay, only downside was 1 of the elevators being broken

When I arrived at this property I was notified that the ocean view room that I had booked someone had smoked in and that was the last ocean view room they had available. They told me we could stay in that one but the smell was pretty bad. She offered me a different room without a view and would take care of the price difference seeing as it would be cheaper. They charged me $157 more than what my original booking was. They had two elevators but only one was operating. The one that was operating was literally on its last leg, and took a really long time to get up and down it. The ice machine on the 3rd floor never worked. The room was clean and I was happy to see that. Other than that there’s nothing to rave about.

The property was clean and staff were friendly. Location was perfect and easy access to the beach. One of the elevators wasn’t working during our stay but that was the only issue.
