Courtyard Muncie at Horizon Convention Center

Trip was awesome, only complaint was hot water in bathroom sink never got hot, thank GOD for the showet

Check in was a breeze. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was amazing! It’s within walking distance of some restaurants and coffee shops which was very nice!

Good location

The bad: Room was 75 dehrees and we could not turn it down snd front desk couldnt either. I can see that in summer, but this was winter. Had to call for delivery of basics like soap. Several lights were broken and or burnt out. Foam seals in connecting door to adjoining room was falling out. Heated pool was frigid. Blinking light on looked-out thermostat was super annoing while trying to sleep. The good: room felt clean. Bonvoy checkin and checkout was convenient.

The staff at the Courtyard are always so friendly and helpful. Not to mention the hotel is always so clean - both in the lobby and the rooms. My fiancé and I always make sure to stay at this hotel when we visit Muncie. Would highly recommend. :)

The room and linens had a very unpleasant smell. The linens on the beds and those brought for the rollaway bed had bad odors, as if they had not been washed properly. Also, the beds are not very comfortable. We had no body wash/shampoo in the complimentary bottles in the shower. The Starbucks coffee was the best part of the stay.

Parking garage parking only. No smoking area. Staff was not helpful when asked questions.

The property was clean and modern. Front desk was very helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant was yummy. The room was clean and comfortable!

Bare bones amenities, no maid service ( including no fresh towels and no making of bed) unless requested. Knob to turn on shower only lifted part way, so spray was weak; no soap in shower dispenser; sheets barely covered sides of bed.

Great staff and unique and clean hotel

The property , staff and room were excellent. Parking was convenient and the area was safe.

We booked this location saying it included breakfast for 2. When we arrived they said they didn't offer complementary breakfast but that we could pay a the cafe in the lobby. It was $10 for a muffin and tea. I showed them the Hotel.com app showing my booking and that we were supposed to have breakfast included and the front desk person just shrugged their shoulders. When we went to our room it was nice and clean but missing several items. We didn't have soap, towels, hand cream, or sheets/blanket/pillows for the pullout couch. We reserved the room paying for 5 adult guests and we didn't have sheets for the 3rd bed. It is as if the room was cleaned but not restocked after the last visit. We called and they brought the missing items but we didn't notice until we were ready to go to bed that the pillows they brought didn't have pillow cases on them. It was just an odd experience and I can't say that we will go back here. The front desk person we check in with was polite but could have cared less about our stay and just gave blank responses. It was a very disappointing experience with the room that we paid over $300 for with missing items and no breakfast as advertised at Hotel.com.

Nice hotel, but we were disappointed that the restaurant was closed on Monday.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The room was clean and beautiful! The staff was very friendly and welcoming!

The staff at the counter were very kind, no complaints there! One morning I called to ask for our room to be cleaned that day and for new towels. We were told that they needed to do laundry and didn’t know when the towels would come. We got back to our room around 4pm and the room hadn’t been cleaned, no towels. Front desk said that vacated rooms needed to be cleaned first…a few days later and the room was never cleaned. The shower had this weird half glass door and no curtain (family in another room had a curtain to cover the massive gap). Stains in shower and sink. Overall, extremely disappointed and even canceled our stay three nights early. Will not return.
