Days Inn by Wyndham Bismarck

I was given a key to a room with someone in it and woke him up. The battery in the smoke detector needed to be replaced, so I had to grab a chair and unplug it. I went down for breakfast at 6 and was greeted with a ,"Sup" by the night guy. It was cold and someone kept starting their diesel truck throughout the night. I would've expected to pay $50 for this experience.

Pool heater was not working, lobby smelt like smoke, hallways were filled with marijuana smoke, floor of room near bottom of bed has not been vacuumed, no Kleenex, no bday wash in shower. Door was insanely hard to open.

This is not the Ritz, but the price is right and the staff means well.

First room given, door handle broken, 2nd room toilet running, had to remove tank top and repair it. No desk and chair, I had computer work to do, no microwave, no fridge, tiny room, terrible wifi, had to switch to cellular data. Great breakfast

Room was too small, but ok Several stains on bedding sheets were disgusting.

No control of heat other than opening window in winter. Fridge and microwave not operational. Broken furniture. Dirty carpets in corners and behind side table. Hot tub not functional in pool area.

The place was dirty the back security door was open the whole time couldn't close it. The fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling, the bathtub had mold underneath the caulking. The sheets were dirty and the heat couldn't be adjusted so we had to open the window in the middle of winter not recommended.

The jacuzzi in our room didn’t work, toilet broken, 2nd tv didn’t work, lights did not work. Issues were discovered late night so not reported till morning. Room was clean, lots of towels, great bedding. Breakfast was average.

We have stayed here many times in the past with no complaints. When we came there this time, the room that we were given had all the lights on when we first opened the door and the cover for the air conditioner was laying on the floor along with one of the covers from a heat register. We were moved to a another room and the heat didn't work in this room, luckily I work with this type of heating systems, so I fixed it, also the toilet seat was really loose. This room was pool side on the 2nd floor, which I didn't like because of the noise that always comes with a pool side room, and this was New Years Eve and there were people in the pool room until at least 1:30 AM. Went down for breakfast one morning and the hashbrowns and sausage that were served should have been thrown out instead of being served to the public. We were a little disappointed with this stay. I'm not a complainer but some things need some attention.

Location

When I got to my room My key card did not work. When I got in there was no bedding on the bed. No pillow cases and the rest strewn on the chair. You could not control the heat and they had it set so high. I like it cooler so I can breathe easier. I ended up sleeping with the window open to cool it down. It was comfortable bed and breakfast was great. Front desk person was very nice.

Absolutely horrible I would be ashamed to have my name attached to this place Absolutely terrible all the way around cost me over 250 dollars to sleep in an Absolutely disgusting place. Never again. Trash!

This property wreaked of marijuana and doors did not fully shut. The entire building was covered in the odor of cigarettes and marijuana. Drug deal in the parking lot and property needs major, major updates before they should be allowed to remain a functional hotel. Very unsafe property.

The back door doesn’t lock. When we walked in it had a very strong smell of pot. The jets didn’t work in the hot tub, the lights flickered and weren’t able to control the heat..

The heater in our room was not working well.

Nice simple rooms! The fact that i could open the window for fresh air during weather changes was amazing! Would definitely stay here again

The front desk lady gave me trouble and acted like she wasn’t going to book me in because I booked online, once I finally got to the room the smell of urine was overwhelming! Absolutely disgusting. Front desk lady switched my room for me and the new room was absolutely disgusting I was so tired at this point I just went to sleep. I will never stay at days inn again

Seems to be a sketchy place. Front desk person was talking with some residents about possible drug use in their hotel room. I was placed in a room where it you take multiple attempts with the key card to get the door to unlock. Appeared to be a bit run down.

Rooms had a bad odor and walls weren't very clean in bathrooms. Had to buy to air freshener to help combat bad odors. I like the breakfast, because the cook prepared your food fresh.
