Days Inn by Wyndham Sheridan

It was ok as an overnight stop. Staff could be friendlier. Parking was good. Room clean & comfortable. Breakfast not bad.

Very accommodating. Comfortable room and beds. Nice breakfast.

The upgrades are nice, but there needs a towel rack in the sink area. Either a heavier blanket or an extra blanket in the room would have been appreciated. The eggs were watery, sausage under cooked. Bagels were nice and fresh.

Smell of Sheetrock, lack of landscaping, size of bathroom.

Room & general property was slightly dated, but not too bad. They had signs up announcing remodeling, but we saw minimal disruption form it. Good breakfast with a few hot items. Small quantities, but was busy when we ate out breakfast.

Staff was friendly and the room was updated and very clean. Overall it is a nice place to stay. The only negative comment I have about it is the walls are paper thin and I could hear everything happening in the room next to mine.

Hotel is being remodeled so half the hotel smells like stale smoke and the rest smells like paint and vinyl flooring. Zero sound proofing. Breakfast was inedible- raw sausage, stale cereal. The bed was moderately comfortable. AC didn’t work. Pool out of order. Would not recommend this hotel.

Comfortable bed

The motel was great recently refurbished. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean room. The walls are paper thin! We heard the man next door hacking up flehm while taking his shower. Not a pleasant sound to wake up to.

There were small insects on the bed. Not bedbugs but still disconcerting. No elevator to the 2nd floor.

Decent place

The hotel was under reconstruction with loud pounding and other noise from below on 1st floor and from above on roof going until 8 p.m. and it started again at 8 a.m. the next morning. Construction trucks were taking uo most of the parking. We had no advance notice about construction and offered no discount, and it was too late to cancel pre-paid reservation. Management was not responsive to our complaints about this and the roofers working directly over the doorway with no safety precautions. I also sent a note later that day to the Days Inn text line that had asked us to let them know if anything was not satisfactory and I received no response. I also mentioned the Days Inn promise of satisfaction prominently displayed in the room, but did not get any response.

The manager was very rude to me and my husband. Lots of noise as under renovation construction. When pushing in luggage cart through front door not automatic and closed fast and hit me in the heel of foot and gouged some skin The room though was very nice.

Very worn property even after we stayed in newly refurbished room. Staff friendly overall. Not in a great area with minimal dining options except fast food.

Hotel was dated. To be fair, they were in the process of renovations. We got a renovated room and even it was dated. Main purpose of rooms was sleeping, nothing more, nothing less. Friendly staff.

I don’t think Tru and Comfort inn are in the same category as this days inn. This was not a clean place. The room that was meant to be non smoking stunk of smoke.

We’ve now stayed here twice. The first time wasn’t great due to renovations, the back door not locking, tons of bees outside, and a room that badly needed an upgrade. Still, we decided to give it another chance since we travel frequently and usually have positive experiences at hotels. Unfortunately, this stay was by far the worst we’ve ever had. The shower was dirty, and the bathroom floor hadn’t been swept at all. While the front desk staff was great (especially during check-in and when she came to clean), the phones were down, which I understand if system updates were happening(like the manager mentioned). The fridge’s freezer door was broken—which was a big issue with a baby since we needed ice packs and cold formula at the same time. The shower had no body wash left, and when we accidentally dropped our baby’s pacifier during the night and moved the blue chair, we found old fries and garbage underneath. Absolutely disgusting. On top of that, all four of us (two adults, two kids) woke up congested and stuffy, which makes me think the AC unit hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. I spoke with the manager not expecting full compensation but at least some acknowledgment beyond an apology. While he did apologize and mentioned they’d already had a staff meeting, nothing was offered for the awful experience. Overall, this was incredibly disappointing. If something goes wrong, don’t expect compensation or even a gesture to make things right. 10/10 do not recommend.
