Didn't expect to pay for vehicle parking and breakfast, even with paying for parking, there are signs posted to park at your own risk, hotel is not responsible for stolen items from your vehicle, and hotel staff said the same thing too

When I pay almost $600 for a two night stay I expect to arrive at the property to my room ready for check in. After a 4 hour drive with my 3 kids we got to the hotel at 5:15 to be told that they had no clean rooms available. Basically told too bad you’ll have to wait. Once we got into our room the bathroom walls were nasty, clearly not scrubbed in a long time. Blankets had stains. $3 for basic coffee in the lobby. Starbucks staff who don’t know how to make drinks. Would absolutely not come back.

The bathroom is tiny and shower head is not good. Not a very good place if you want to walk for a bite to eat.

Upon checking in, we were informed that they oversold the 2 bed rooms and we were getting a king and a roll away bed. Before I could even respond, the front desk clerk was HORRIFICALLY rude- rolling eye, speaking to me like it was putting her out rather than doing her job. We crammed our party into the room with the roll away (having my elderly mother and all her oxygen equipment was not easy) and made do. When booking the room, months in advance, we confirmed that the pool was available as shown in the pictures. It wasn’t in fact usable as it was drained. Needless to say, we won’t be back at that hotel next year for the competition stay. *Note- we are from the Albuquerque area and know how subpar a good portion of customer service personnel are here but this was unacceptable and extreme.

Room and restaurant bar were great ! Staff that checked us in seemed extremely over her job , mentioned that we were there to swim with my kids , but I guess she didn’t care to mention the pool was closed .

The location is great. It is walking distance from downtown and just a few minutes from Old Town. It is located near the 40 and 25 so it's very accessible. The fitness room has a working Peloton bike and is open 24/7. The fitness room is not very big but it has the basics and it wasn't widely used while I was there. The staff at the restaurant was very nice and accommodating.

Great stay

The hotel is an older property, but clean and typical for an Doubletree. Unfortunately there was construction with a jack hammer that began at 6:30am. Parking is an additional $20 to stay. I was charged for two nights. Made a phone call to clear up and was told they will take care of it. Overall our stay was what I expected.

We had a bad experience to be honest. Our refrigerator in our room did not work. We had to throw some groceries away because we didn’t realize until next morning. My wife went to the front desk at 8:30am to notify front desk and they said they would get right on it. Well, we went to Santa Fe for the day and purchased more cold items figuring it would have been handled. It wasn’t. I went back down to the front desk and notified them again around 6pm. We then had to go to a grocery store to get ice to try to salvage what we purchased. We also were amazed there were no USB ports in the room. Only outlets. We had to share the same adapter to charge our devices. We stayed at lesser quality hotels and they all had plenty of ports for us to use. Lastly, they was no body wash in the container in the shower and no bar soap either. So, I was very disappointed in our 2 day stay to say the least.

The room itself looked clean but the rest room was small and pretty dirty! They had no hand soap I had to go down and grab some! There was some exposed wiring to the room air conditioner, definitely wouldn’t stay again!
