Clean, friendly staff. Wish they would advise nuts are in the cookies && the hot tub had film of debris and gunk (gross) . Self parking rates a bit outrageous.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at DoubleTree. It was such a clean environment overall. The distance from the hotel to universal was approximately 3-5 mins away and about 10-15 mins away from Epic universe. There are so many nearby restaurants, Walmarts & targets. They had complimentary WiFi & room service daily during our stay. A Starbucks is located on the first floor of the building which made our morning easier by saving us time to drive to the nearest coffee shop. They also had a great bar & restaurant that served a variety of food including an ice cream shop across from it in the first floor as well. The hotel has a great pool, hot tub and aside from that they also made sure not to forget about the kiddos with their splash area for them. There is a Game Center for kids entertainment by the pool as well. The Laundry Room was also very clean and affordable to use. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Make sure to ask for your warm cookies during check in, they will also provide them for you during your stay, you just have to ask for them :)

Check in staff was amazing to deal with. Light hearted. Wish I had taken the ladies name on check in to recognize her personally. Also one of the cleaning ladies got in the elevator with us and had a great chat with us on the short ride. Hotel was clean, staff was fantastic. Kinda wish the parking was included.

The location was great and the property was nice. There. Was very little shade at the pool which was the reason we couldn’t use it. There were only 4 umbrellas and they were all occupied which meant everyone else had to sit out in the blistering sun. They don’t provide individual toiletries, they have large bottles of shampoo, soap, and conditioner in the bathroom, which is great as long as they are filled. I reached out to the front desk two days in a row for more conditioner, but it was never refilled. I finally gave up and went out to purchase my own. The restaurant was too pricy, so we didn’t eat there. The fresh cookies are great and it was very convenient to have a shuttle to Universal on site. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience but will probably try a different hotel next time.

The staff was very friendly, especially Marie in the breakfast restaurant. The lobby clerk was also friendly but her name escapes me unfortunately. Our waiter in the restaurant was very good. He looked just like Paul McCartney. Food was good at both places. We had a room that slept 5. Very spacious and we never felt crowded in the room. The hotel felt very clean and we felt safe. I will be back.

Upon arriving, the line to check-in took us almost 30 minutes. The line just to reserve a seat on the bus/shuttle to Universal took another 25 minutes as it's actually a theme park sales line. Also, the woman at the bus/shuttle sign-ups never told us that the shuttle wouldn't even begin returning guests until 5:25 p.m. We only found that out when we once tried to leave earlier than that. There was a family of 4 also just learning that the bus would not be back until 5:25. The Cafe was permanently closed while we were there. The restaurants were very expensive so we had to walk thru the parking lots to Burger King. The property is run down.

I've stayed at a couple Double Trees so happily booked this one, but now wish I hadn't. The air-conditioning sounded like a water feature inside the wall and the ceiling in the shower leaked almost as much as the showerhead when the water turned on. I tried multiple times to get hold of front desk from my room but never got through to anyone. It also took me far too long to find out that a service the hotel supposedly offered, they actually didn't and only found out from their AI assistant. So overall, a pretty disappointing stay.
