DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando

Hotel was quiet and very conveniently located. Walkable to Universal studios. Good dining options. The Starbucks downstairs was quick and efficient

Beautiful building, my dislike is not enough activities on site. During our stay the pool was closed several times because of weather leaving nothing for the kids to do. Grant it, went to your game room which way too expensive!!!!

My wife and I stayed here for one week. The very first day wwe tried getting into the room the keys didn’t work. The keys were replaced then we found out it was the door that was getting stuck. The security said they would send an engineer in the morning to fix it. Entire week went by and no one showed up. We had to push the door open every time and bump it with our shoulder to be able to open it. The toilet wasn’t working either and was not flushing from the start. The water flow in the shower was horrible. Despite all that the worst part was the staff at the welcome desk (Laura and a black female manager). Extremely rude and very dismissive. The manager initially thought we were diamond members and began being helpful. Once she realized she had entered the wrong room number she went right back to being rude and dismissive as if my money wasn’t good enough. Nothing was fixed throughout the week and we had to change the door keys 3 times. It was probably the worst hotel stay we have experienced. Never again with Hilton or Double Tree. We truly expected more from Hilton, what a horrible disappointment. I would not recommend this hotel and we will not be returning to this or any Hilton property.

Everything was ok until we found out that I have to pay for parking 33 a day. Cleanness was 8 out of10

the on site stores are extremely expensive however that’s orlando for you but this was the best Doubletree i’ve ever stayed at and i will be making this my hotel in orlando from now on

Room was a bit noisey near elevator.

Clean, friendly staff. Wish they would advise nuts are in the cookies && the hot tub had film of debris and gunk (gross) . Self parking rates a bit outrageous.

Was not given right room. Staff didn’t care and were very un-professional and flat out rude

The location was great and the property was nice. There. Was very little shade at the pool which was the reason we couldn’t use it. There were only 4 umbrellas and they were all occupied which meant everyone else had to sit out in the blistering sun. They don’t provide individual toiletries, they have large bottles of shampoo, soap, and conditioner in the bathroom, which is great as long as they are filled. I reached out to the front desk two days in a row for more conditioner, but it was never refilled. I finally gave up and went out to purchase my own. The restaurant was too pricy, so we didn’t eat there. The fresh cookies are great and it was very convenient to have a shuttle to Universal on site. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience but will probably try a different hotel next time.

Very disappointed in the fact that we got things stolen from us and then have yet to have anything resolved from it

The rooms were old

The staff was very friendly, especially Marie in the breakfast restaurant. The lobby clerk was also friendly but her name escapes me unfortunately. Our waiter in the restaurant was very good. He looked just like Paul McCartney. Food was good at both places. We had a room that slept 5. Very spacious and we never felt crowded in the room. The hotel felt very clean and we felt safe. I will be back.

They have a number of food options, pillow beds for great comfort, and right across from universal!
