A comfortable location

Room look like it could use a refresh stains on bedroom wall Need to be repainted or cleaned

Given that I had to get a lot of my loved ones to safety this location was really great.

Hotel was looking very worn, from carpets to doors to walls to windows. Restaurant was closed for lunch on a weekend which was frustrating.

The heating in our room did not work

While i do understand the previiuse reviews of the property being dated. It still has some value. Rooms are fairly spacious. Beds are comfortable. Views are pretty nice. Check in went smoothly and was the shuning spot of this trip. (Oh and the cookies!) The cons: The parking is a little convoluted and makes it seem as if valet is necessary. (Its not) and Self parking is not much cheaper than valet. The room was fine with the exception of some minor annoyances. The room had several cobwebs in reachable areas and some in non reachable areas. Also a very questionable electrical socket which seemed to be barely hanging in the wall. And lastly, the shower head leaked profuselly against the back wall causing a little mess outside the shower. Overall: It's not a bad place for the price. That being said the price goes up substantially with parking. With this new information, I would still consider this a decent value, just not what it looks like at first.

Tucked away from the noise of the freeway, this hotel has gorgeous, peaceful views of the waterfront. There is a great park nearby with an off-leash dog park & fantastic views of downtown SF. Friendly, attentive staff - very welcoming & responsive! I will always stay here when traveling for work.

Older property, nice staff, the few things i found that needed attention: There was no blackout curtains, and the bathroom sink, drained slow and the bathtub was too tiny to take bath in.

Room was clean and very roomy. Nice view of the harbor area. Bed very comfortable. Restaurant had nice selection for dinner and helpful, cheerful wait staff.

Property shows its age. Mattress and pillows AMAZING. Room was CLEAN.

This is my “go-to” when in Berkeley. Setting and views can’t be beat. Two ongoing issues though and have been irritating my last three stays: First is other than in-room coffee, which we frequent travelers know is just awful, there is no complimentary coffee anywhere. The shop at the property is crazy expensive. $8 for a drip cup of coffee!! Second, you can’t get in touch with front desk no matter how hard you try! They’ve disconnected the in-room phones. They’ve put up signs that say if you need something to text the number on the sign and they will happily get you what you need. This became a running joke. We texted perhaps 10 times and not once did we get any reply. So I would say in terms of service..,,good luck! They’ve got the views and terrific spot and they run with that over quality in service (or any service) which Hilton typically excels.

Our stay was good. We were checked-in at the front desk by a friendly guest services agent by the name of 'Cherry.' Check-in was a breeze. Our room was cozy, quiet, and clean...with a Marina view. Bathroom was clean. One area that may need a reevaluation is the narrow bathroom doorway and its low ceilings. My hubs is a "big & tall" type of man who was perplexed by how narrow the doorway. Otherwise, our stay was relaxing. Oh! The restaurant was quite good. We were pleasantly satisfied by the breakfast and dinner offerings.

Lovely quiet location, great marina/harbor views, well-maintained and comfy rooms and beds. Excellent free cookies. Tip: park across the street along the water to save money! $40/night for parking is a waste of money. Room rates were good until I got parking price. But it’s easy to avoid!

I loved this property, the front desk was awesome and quick with check in and check out. The room was clean but I had an issue with the ac/heater and they responded immediately and fixed it. The property was quiet and safe. Thank you for making my stay wonderful.

This hotel is in a great location and has a great restaurant attached with quality food and drinks. Inside the room felt clean and comfortable. The only downside is that it is confusing navigating the different building on the property and more than once we ended up in a hallway that was under construction and was not sectioned off at all.
