The staff was great very nice and friendly. I was genuinely impressed with this property because the views of the marina was amazing along with you can still see the skyline of SF. Would definitely stay here again!

Not much around. Must uber everywhere. Even to a coffee shop.
The rooms are clean and staff is super nice. The common areas need a little attention and in need of a good carpet cleaning. The food and gift shop super expensive but otherwise it was “good for the price of the room!”

The staff at this property was absolutely outstanding, they took incredibly good care of all of our needs. They were highly responsive, kind, and accommodating. The reason for the lower score is the rooms are in desperate need of an update, our room had cracks in the ceiling, sloped floors, and rusting bathroom fixtures. O&M is really hard on these older buildings. That said, the price is reasonable given the conditions, but it’s probably time for a renovation.

This location is probably one of the most amazing locations in all of Berkeley and overlooks the Berkeley Marina. However, the property condition, rooms, soundproofing leave a lot to be desired. The elevators are dilapidated, and the walls and doors are paper thin. Some people might be into hearing neighbors conversations and other nocturnal activities but for people who just want to rest, it might not be the most convenient and restful place to be.

This is my second time staying here. The location is beautiful but the property is in need of cosmetic renovations. I couldn’t sleep much because the bed was clearly very old and had no support and was really uncomfortable. I wish I could say I would stay here again because the marina area is great, but I won’t be able to after not sleeping for 2 nights. I gave this hotel a second chance but I do not recommend it for anyone that needs a supportive and comfortable bed for their stay.

Mr Jin was always a pleasure to see at breakfast. Drinks in the bar were a little expensive. We stayed two nights, the room was good for what we needed to be in the area for those two nights. I didn’t read site very well. Was surprised to find out we had to pay $40 a day for parking.
