All good, the staff was nice the locations is pretty but the hotel is very out dated, that is the only bad, they can use a fresh painting that will change immediately the looks.

A huge change. We stayed here awhile ago and there have been significant improvements - in the staff friendliness and helpfulness and in the comfort of the rooms. A smallish room but we were able to get the first floor that we wanted and the bed was comfortable and shower strong. Only comment is that the furnishings were a bit dated and not in the best condition (sheer window curtain torn, sink control leaking at the base, electric outlets on the lamp/desk were not tight enough to hold the plugs, safe not working). Nothing can beat the surroundings of the marina and walking paths. Just so peaceful. And of course, having our dogs, and other dogs, be able to stay is the best part.

Waited over 30 minutes to check in. I was told the pool was closed due to broken pipes. It was open with several people swimming. No ice in any of the machines. 40 dollars to park is ridiculous.

The stay was pleasant except for the check-in process. I was given plenty of grief, because my wife made the reservation, but I arrived with my son. We flew there from Southern California and had to drive in your horrible Bay Area traffic for over an hour to reach your establishment. You should change the policy about which spouse's name is on the reservation. I had to call my wife to get verbal permission for you guys, like I was a teenager. How embarrassing!

I have always loved staying here. This visit was a little disappointing, the pool area was unstaffed, so there was no one to talk to about whirlpool being cold. Locker rooms were closed off with caution tape. There was a phone to call front desk but it was broken. The restaurant was pretty busy. Most of the staff got involved with some issue around receipts. They were huddled by the register at the bar for 15 minutes and finally a guy came up the stairs and said people were waiting for a long time to be seated. I never did get service and eventually left. The bright spot was the front desk staff who were always helpful, kind and competent. This has been true on every visit and this one was no exception. Whoever trains them should work with the boathouse team.

We had a marina view room and our university tour wasn’t until noon. At 8am construction outside our window began massive pounding sounds. I called the front desk and the manager was “too busy” to talk with me about my complaint and related the city did not inform him of construction (doubtful.) Also, the shower containers were all empty, no shower gel to clean oneself.

Property is worn but economical. I dislike cheap maintenance; they used a rotating shower knob where a pull style is required. Had to discover how to turn on. Laziness!

We loved the park and walking trails by the hotel. And the view of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge were a great bonus!

Nice and quiet property; restaurant with great view. The 2 double room we were in has a sofa that pulls out to a twin. You can park across the street for free. Overall a good value for a good hotel.

The experience was extremely overrated. They had great reviews, but me and my son were not able to enjoy our actual trip. We went an entire day without power unable to charge our phones or devices we weren’t able to leave our rooms. It was truly disappointing. We tried using the receptacles such as the pool and the sauna. The hot tub did not work. The sauna was not working properly. Lights were blinking. It was just an overall bad experience and there was nothing that was offered to help. We were advised that there was a PG&E outage, but later learned That it was just that one building that struggled with the power outage. We asked if there was any incentive for the inconvenience and again nothing was offered, which was troubling. I hope no one else has to experience something like this, especially with their children. I was also advised to park in the back and was later charged for those parking after addressing the customer service they advise there was free parking in the front that I was never made aware of which was another hurdle. I suppose maybe the staff should better set the standard of what to expect when it comes to extra charges. It would’ve been a nice heads up.

Lost power for most of the night

I had a wonderful relaxing stay , the property is beautiful and easy to navigate, it was a perfect get away for the Holidays
