The housekeeper was excellent during my two-day. Overall, I enjoy the clean and quiet environment and friendly staff. It is also very close to Cal Berkeley.

I stayed here for three weeks with my two dogs. I had a wonderful time. My house keeper for 6/7 days each week was wonderful. I enjoyed exploring the area each day and also the gym. I found the Boat House restaurant over priced and service very slow but otherwise, excellent staff and stay. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel and all the staff were wonderful. The property is beautiful. The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. i swear they were trying to fatten me up with those warm yummy coolies!

Large property where we had to walk far to get to our room only to enter and it stink like cigarettes. Had to walk all the way back to the lobby for new room keys. Also the mattresses were too soft. They felt old.

We inquired about breakfast, last time they gave vouchers but this time nothing . I asked about it but was not offered anything even for a fee. They should just give you the cookies instead you have to ask for them or they are not offered

This hotel is very old. The door to the bathroom is falling apart. The carpet is dirty. The whole room is dirty. The sheets are scratchy. The bathroom have mold on tiles. Only good thing were The staffs. Very nice. The place need a whole remodel.

Great location on the water and the restaurant is fine. However, the carpets need replacing (very smelly), the beds and the room furniture are quite worn, and cobwebs, smudges, and bits of dirt everywhere. A previous review suggested a really DEEP clean, and I absolutely agree. I don’t mind worn, but I want clean!
Also, the phones are old and it was unclear what I needed to press to just get basic info on checkout, etc. WIFI was spotty so I I had wait a while just to access online answers on my iPhone or laptop.

The staff was amazing! Cesar Chavez Park next to the property is a must! With the restaurant on the property was delicious. However, there aren’t any other options for dining that are within walking distance.

We had to change rooms twice because of mold and missing blackout blinds. Got no help from the staff whatsoever. The refrigerator cabinet had mold and weird putty on it, my girlfriend had asthma, and it was difficult to breathe in the room. We got changed to another room and it was missing blackout lines, then we had to move to a third room to actually get some sleep.
