The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. Clean room. Good value for the price.

The entire stay was awesome! The owners - Jack and Mary ann were absolutely fantastic. Mary ann can really cook and makes an unbelievable granola! Over all the room was very comfortable and the entire setting was beautiful! We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

The property is under external renovation and some of the interior equipment is under review as well. Daniel especially took the time and effort to correct initial problems and make the stay more enjoyable. The staff in The Atrium were also very guest accommodating. It would be nice to have more dining options midday as our venue was a little shy on service for us.

Terrible breakfast. Noisy in the room. I could hear people in the rooms on BOTH sides of us. A/C did not work properly and was VERY loud. Prices on line were all over the place. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Perfectly fine for our family - nice pool, etc. Nothing outstanding, but clean and and a normal hotel!

The room had everything one needs for a stort stay. The room was clean, but a pervasive odor (perhaps a cleaner or odor eliminator) was unpleasant and almost overwhelming. The hotel was nicely situated and had a nice patio area for relaxing outside their small pub/restaurant. We would reserve again on our next trip to VT.

Picture and description of the room in Expedia didn’t match the actual room. The cost was as high as a luxury hotel downtown.

Great hotel with a great location if you’re visiting UVM. Every time we visit we always have a nice time. Rooms are spacious enough and always feel very clean. Only downside this time was the A/C in the room was not working well. Will come back every time we visit!

Always love staying here for UVM events. It’s within walking distance to the University. We have also walked down to the waterfront from here as well. Great service, especially the ladies serving dinner.

Check in was smooth. I liked the facility, especially the Tavern within the hotel.

Clean and quiet

The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Anything we needed corrected they did it fast and with a smile. The Tavern was amazing. The bartender Erin Carpenter was efficient, friendly and great.

The hotel looked worn. The room was very distressed. Carpet was ripped and stained. The furniture was worn and not clean

Our room was in what must be the oldest part of this sprawling place. There wall AC unit at eye level was full of dust (imagine your dryer’s full lint filter. There was a musty smell in the stairway, the ice machine was out of order, the shower has seen better days, and the front desk attendant did not recognize me as a diamond honors member. Told me at check in that I would have to purchase a bottle of water if I wanted one. The bartender was nice, though. But, we wont be back.

We love the friendly staff and wide open spaces. We love the atrium for breakfast buffet and the bar was good on a rainy afternoon. We have stayed here twice in the last month. The first time we had a very nice room very close to the pool and fitness center and not far from the main lobby and a view of the pool area. The second time we booked through Expedia to get a better price and we were given a very inferior room. Smaller, chipped ceiling paint and dirty grout lines in bathroom, no microwave and only plastic cups. I asked to be near the pool area as we were planning on using it and it was almost the last room in a very long hallway. I was very disappointed but I did not complain. I will still go back to this hotel but I will definitely be aware of what room they are giving me.
