DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown

The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Parking is very convenient. Located next to museums and many other venues. Has a nice bar and Italian restaurant.

First time el Paso to see a show. 👍

The parking garage requires your key after paying a 20 dollar parking fee in order to exit the garage. The ket scanner did not work a single time, meaning I had to press the help button to ring the front desk. As soon as it rang they opened the gate, without asking a room number or any type of confirmation that I had paid for overnight parking. Meaning that most guests could choose to lie say they dont want overnight parking, not pay the charge and still have the same access I paid for.

Thermostat in room did not work. Additionally, sometimes did not have any hot water. Property is dated.

Room and carpets were dirty. Parking was a hassle. Overall a bad stay.

Hotel was great! Unfortunately though, our TV was broken and they offered to give us complimentary breakfast vouchers but they didn’t end up giving them to us.

Did not report issues do to been extremely tired and very little time to sleep so it was more imperative to sleep then deal with the time loss complaining. Room was extremely dirty. There was dirt clumps all over the desk, carpet needed to be replaced, was given a handicap room even though I did not ask for one, shower head was need of replacement, sink faucet leaked, sink backed up, the towels were tattered shower had mold in it. I have picture to prove these statements. While I realize I should have brought it to their attention my reasons for not was stated above. That said the caliber of hotel double tree is there is no reason why any customer should be given a room in that condition.

It was a good experience but the bathroom sink faucet causes some of my clothes to get wet and damaged.

Very nice place. Thought I’d give it a try. Usually I stay at Paso Del Norte. I liked that there was a restaurant in the hotel, very affordable.

Everything was very nice. Only complaints are; most of the power outlets didn't work in the room and the shutting of other traveller's doors were very loud and violent.
