My stay at the Hilton DoubleTree in Reading, PA was truly wonderful! The room was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the bar and restaurant offered a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!

We had a nice stay overall

I've always had good luck staying at DoubleTrees and the DoubleTree Reading location was no exception. All staff were very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. We had amazing service at both the Cheers restaurant & the bar on-site. The room was clean, thoughtful amenities, and the bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at this particular DoubleTree hotel since its grand opening in the city of Reading, PA. Due to a couple of graduation events going on across the street at the Santander center, parking at the hotel was next to non--existent . We un loaded our luggage and left the premises, and returned after 9 pm.

Beautiful hotel! So happy I chose it for an event at Santander. Top Notch!

It’s fine.

This property has always been a favorite of our. However, since the change of leadership with the GM there has been a decline, especially in the restaurant. Key takeaways - The room carpets and carpets throughout were in a dire need of a good cleaning, our allergies were horrible in our room due to this (dander, mold, mildew) and the toilet seat in our room was not secure and shifted. The hotel states that it is pet friendly and has a mulched area for dogs. I am physically disabled and was glad for this. However, the area is not handicap accessible, the shrubs are overgrown and congested together, leaving no area for even my 12lb dog to walk and relieve itself. Additionally, some of the shrubs are not dog friendly and poisonous and digested. Dinner was less than desirable. We got the charcuterie as a starter which was nothing more that pre-packaged lunch meat as well as pre-packaged sliced cheese. We both got the flat iron steak cooked medium. This steak had no flavor at all, was over cooked, and tough. Our meal was definitely not worth $140. The dinner menu is extremally limited for those who are GF. The positive of our meal was the passion fruit mojito mocktail. Breakfast was superior and the highlight of our stay. If we stay at this hotel again, we will definitely go elsewhere for dinner.

Iliked friendly staff offering cookies at checkin. Like finding " Welcome Michael" on tv screen when i entered the nicely appointed clean room. Parking was convenient and easy.
