This was our first time staying at The Downtown Grand, and it was a great experience. I was there with my wife and our 2-year-old daughter. The hotel’s location was very convenient, with easy access to dining, gambling, and enjoying Fremont Street. Plus, it's only an 8-minute drive to the Strip.
I had no issues with our room, and I appreciated the free parking, although the garage is open to the public, so finding a spot can be a challenge at times. One evening, I had to use valet, but the $20 charge was reasonable.
The only hiccup was that the person who checked me in forgot to give me a parking pass. I didn’t realize until the second day that I could use my ticket to access the car.
Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay, especially considering it's several hundred dollars cheaper than hotels on the Strip. I’ll definitely be returning!

Excellent. The Downtown Grand exceeded all my expectations — I even got a free room upgrade! I would definitely stay here again.

I thought the price, room size & comfortable bed, nice and accommodating employees were the best things about this property. Things I didn't like were the shower flow was bad & water temperature did not get hot enough, had to ask to have room cleaned. I will stay here again.

Like the title says I got stuck in the elevator. My whole family came out to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday and my moms
60th. We checked in On my daughter’s actual birthday . We had reservations for Hells Kitchen (which I know takes forever to get ) . I went downstairs to meet my family and when I got to the bottom floor the doors wouldn’t open . After a half hour , while waiting for the fire department to come . I pried to doors open myself to bust free! The hostess was gracious and did upgrade my rooms for me . But it was birthday lunch with my family that I’ll never get back .

Check in was great, staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, my reserved room style had been overbooked and sold out which led to a smaller bed than desired but first services kindly comped our resort fee for the inconvenience.
Each person I spoke with at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
The staff at the casino players club window however we're opposite. With three interactions, two of the three were straight rude and didn't seem that they enjoy interacting with people.
The building was clean and well maintained.
Two of the three nights of our stay I was woken up at 7 am from a adjoining room next to ours that had an alarm clock sounding. After listening to it for about 30 min the first day, I called the desk to inform them assuming the room was vacant. This was not resolved and the alarm stayed on for hours. I was not able to go back to sleep :(
Next day, 7am sharp, I'm awake again. I called the desk only about 5 min in this time and this was resolved in about 10 min (different desk staff) I was able to go back to sleep!

The service was great excwpt for the restaurant in the Gallery Tower, American Beat. Took almost an hour to get our food, had to ask for the bill to leave sonve we didn't get the food in time to eat. Hadn't even received by the time we had to leave. I ordered cheese curds, I don't know what I got...they were balls that seemed like a cross of a hushpuppy with coconut. We took it to go so didn't realize how bad it was. We loved the location by Fremont and the Mob Museum. Loved the bed!

We were “upgraded” to gallery tower due to being Expedia silver member. Gallery rooms are nicely updated but smaller than what we booked. A bonus was they had coffee makers. Got stuck in elevator several times as key card didn’t work. Room wasn’t cleaned once being there. We were told they only clean if you request it yet on day we returned to find 2 dirty cleaning tabs on our room but it still wasn’t cleaned so not sure what they were doing. Maybe dropping off towels? Hotel was booked due to our ball team needing a budget hotel and it didn’t trick. I liked the location to Fremont. Gallery rooms are quieter than regular due to position in hotel from Fremont noise. Pizza rock across the street is awesome and the snack bar at hotel has some cheap snacks in a pinch. A couple things could use improving but overall decent value at this hotel. Highlight is location

We had to ask for towels three times before getting some. No one ever came to clean our room or empty our trash. The surrounding area was noisy until 2:00 am but that’s expected. I loved the surrounding restaurants and Mob Museum. It was fantastic.

Check-in was easy through a kiosk. The room was nice and clean, they don't do daily cleaning so you have to call if you need something. Staff was very polite and helpful. Conveniently located near Freemont Street.

The property is mostly clean, easy to get around to/in. However, the access cards for the elevator did not work well at all. There would be 8 people on an elevator trying to get their key to scan. Also, when we got to our room we had a dirty rag in our sink and no two wash clothes. Also, there was an issue when I was sitting at the electronic blackjack table. I kept getting a notification to double click for my cash app. And ONLY when i sat there.
