Highly recommend hotel close to Fremont street. Rooms are updated I stayed on the newer side. The rooms was big as well and got a upgraded room.

We always stay at the Downtown Grand when we’re in Vegas. Comfortable, clean rooms, great rates and a great location. Not to mention, the best staff in the world. We’ll definitely be back.

Loved the location and the swimming pool and was fortunate to get umbrella shade to cover from the sun.
Room was recently renovated but I’m being critical.
1) 3 different touch up paints were very visible. Didn’t take away from the visit but quality matters.
2) the AC which was needed, (104) blew on the bed all night. I was tempted to adjust but chose not to. Sinus congestion and still recovering

This used to be our go-to place for years. Unfortunately, our past two stays have had major issues. So much so that last year they comped us two nights in their Grand City Suite to use this year. We booked an additional night when we booked our flights through Expedia. When we got to the hotel they were able to join the two reservations, which we appreciated. We were told we would only have to pay the resort fees in the amount of about $45 for the one night we paid for. When we checked out, we got our receipt indicating all was owing was the $45. When we landed I got a notification from my credit card that I was charged an additional $318. It appears they couldn’t figure out I already paid for the additional night with my Expedia reservation. I’ve called twice now and I keep getting the run around about how the manager who charged me the fee will call me back. I don’t have time for this nonsense and I shouldn’t have to deal with it for their incompetence. The elevators also were super noisy at night making a loud groaning noise that kept us up and our room was nowhere near the elevators. Then mid stay, two of the three were broken so it took forever to get anywhere for the remainder of our stay. It’s always something with this hotel and customer service never seems to care and are extremely rude when you have issues.

Stayed at the hotel and casino for a friends bachelor weekend. The staff was friendly, the casino atmosphere was great, and the convenience of the location was great. Drinks were well made at the bar as well. Room was comfy and had plenty of space. My only knock to the hotel was the noise. The music from Fremont made it hard to sleep at night. However it’s Vegas…so it’s always loud. Overall great experience and for the price you can’t beat it.

My stay was great. I wish that I would have been offered ear plugs upon check in. I'm a light sleeper and kept getting woken up by the loud vehicles. I saw the sticky note in the morning with the notes about the ear plugs.
Other than that it was a nice stay. I enjoyed the rooftop pool, breakfast at Freedom and had fun gambling. I would consider coming back.

I usually always, like 90% of my Vagas stays have been at the Grand. But after this weekend, had me thinking... my room wasn't very clean, upon check-in 😕. And the valet guy, scracted up my rim on my truck and tried to say that it was like that already. I did file a claim, we'll see what happens next... So, disappointed 😞
