Downtown Grand Las Vegas

Parking is a little far and area is noisy

Unfortunately, my experience at the Downtown Grand was not great. The online check-in could not find my reservation (even with the correct confirmation #), and the self-check kiosk could not find my reservation with my name or ID card... luckily my confirmation number worked, as the in-person check-in line was extremely long and incredibly slow. Unfortunately, the kiosk does not give you a parking pass, so hours after check-in, I had to wait in a very long (slow) line to get my parking pass from the front desk. One of the front desk workers (6:30PM on Thursday, July 24th 2025 was a very rude young Hispanic woman, whom without even looking at me, nastily told me to "Get in line" when I asked how to get a parking pass. The other three desk workers were yawning, joking/talking amongst themselves, and did not look at all happy with their jobs. I waited for nearly 20 minutes to finally get my parking pass. The parking lot is off-site (across the street) and the garage is fairly scary/dirty. The elevator didnt work (sign says use the stairs), so i had to carry my luggage down/up 4 levels of stairs. The room was nice... but... my toilet wouldn't flush, and the room was the noisest room I've ever been in (Freemont street music all night long). They give ear plugs, but it's still not an experience I'd ever wish for again. I called about my toilet three times, but the first employee sounded very put off with my call, and no one ever came to fix my toilet.

Love staying here! Everything you need is close by in walking distance with no problem! Easy check in and out.

I didn't know since when there is no room cleaning for the day you are staying in. If there was no room service, why charging the room service fee or cleaning fee?

Overall a good stay and very convenient. The bathroom was a little dirty, so I would recommend housekeeping to be more thorough in the bathrooms.

I always stay here, the only bad thing is the pool chairs with shade are always reserved and the pool closes early.

My preferred place to stay while in Vegas! I love the convenience of Fremont street being so close and plenty of dining options that are walkable. Only issue I had was the thermostat button was hard to change which once I got it set was perfectly fine. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the 4th time I’ve stayed at The Grand. I love the convenience of Fremont street being close and lots of food options within walking distance. Uber pickup location is so easy as well, no walking a mile like down on the strip. The pool area is great, although more sun loungers would help it’s still a nice and social area. Would definitely stay here again.

We’ve have stayed at Downtown Grand multiple times over the years and loved it, but this time the resort felt rundown. Our room was dirty, water wouldn’t drain in sink and the shower had weak water pressure. Two of the 3 nights we were there we didn’t have housekeeping. The pool service was very slow and also they didn’t have the kitchen open which was disappointing. Freedom beat restaurant was also closed while we were there. The resort seems to be going down hill overall and isn’t the same quality. We used to love staying at Downtown Grand but our next visit to Vegas we will stay elsewhere.

The property was close to Fremont street which was good. I added the 40 dollar meal and drink vochier and ride to and from the hotel by e limo the food and drink I am told has to be charged to the room which I did not want to do. The hotel told me it is the third party company’s requirement so I did not use as for the ride to the hotel I was pick up in a private car that had damage to the passenger side of the car but got to the hotel fine . On the return trip the driver sent me a text with a picture of a flat saying I need to call an uber at the same time they were to pick me up from the hotel. In the uber on my way to the airport I called e limo they also said it was my third person booking company responsibility to refund me half of the service So for me I think the hotel and flights we what was expected the add ons in the end are not worth the hassle it is going to take me to try to get refunded back my money in the end it was cheaper to get an uber then a private card and the hoops you have to do to get 40 credit wasn’t worth it the hotel gave me a credit for the food discounts

The noise is crazy if you’re assigned a room on the Fremont side of the hotel. It is literally all night, you want to be as far away from the pool side as possible!

Hotel was great. Nice casino floor and comfortable room. Only complaint is the self parking structure is seperate from hotel which makes transporting luggage more difficult. You can choose valet, however, to make it easier if you want.
