This hotel should not be rated 8.0! The pool was too cold for swimming. Our refrigerator was not cold and smelled rancid. Quiet hours were not enforced, and it was very loud until late. Breakfast was also terrible. We would not stay here again.

Very Soft mattresses, mould & meldew around the tub. Property is in the process of rennovation.

Appears the property is being renovated. Our room was nice but needs some updates. Convenient location and decent price. Standard breakfast.

This place looked run down and dirty the minute we arrived. There was no one to check us in. Sign said to use a Red phone to check in. Noisy A/C unit , couldn’t hear TV over it, noise above our room likely due to construction

We stayed at this hotel because it had good reviews on hotels.com, but didn’t see the one’s on Google. We pulled up and the hotel didn’t have a sign, just a banner saying “Dubque Inn & Suites”, not even spelling Dubuque correctly. The lobby was fine and the check in went smooth. They only gave us one working key and when we got to the room, we found a tub full of black mold and a toilet that was so shaky, we thought it was going to fall over. The room smelled so bad and just felt really unsafe. We ended up leaving and getting a new hotel for the night, where we felt safer.

Don’t forget anything! The immoral staff won’t turn it in and will steal it instead!

This hotel is not worth the price. The room wasn't necessarily dirty, but everything is old. Towels are frayed, curtains and shower curtain have holes and runs in them. Scratches in the paint where furniture has been rubbing it and repairs were made but not patched up properly. The phone did not dial out. There is no clock. The TV is small and fuzzy. The remote only worked sometimes. The shower didn't drain until after you were done showering and maintenance does not work on Saturdays to fix it. We heard every movement from the upstairs neighbor. The mattresses are very old, worn out, and uncomfortable. Not enough towels or pillows for the amount of people in our reservation. The room smells musty. On the plus side: they let us check in early. Hot water and good water pressure. A/C works. Good location for restaurants and shopping.

You can it changing names, remodeling some rooms, water damage in areas. Bathroom could use some updates.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay was honestly disappointing. The room was not up to standard in terms of cleanliness or upkeep. The ironing board had a large, noticeable stain that was both unsightly and unhygienic- definitely not something you’d expect in a hotel that’s supposed to be professionally cleaned between guests and “newly” remodeled. Even worse, the bathroom had visible wall damage next to the toilet with tiles falling off the wall. The trim was cracked and peeling, which gave the entire space a neglected feel. In the shower, the tub and soap dispensers had body hair all other- it was very gross. The shower head was covered in pink scum, it honestly appeared as if the shower had never been cleaned. It’s small details like these that make a big difference, especially when you’re paying to stay somewhere that should provide comfort and cleanliness. It’s clear that maintenance and quality checks are being overlooked. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests more effort into basic standards of hygiene and room care. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This property seems to be undergoing renovation under new ownership. Our room had nice features like new carpeting and flooring, but tub had mold stains around the top where it connected with the wall and the sink had rusty stains in the bowl. The breakfast was delicious but was served on styrofoam dishes. Definitely not eco friendly. No one was at the front desk at check in time as the staff member had not arrived and we needed to wait to check into our room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very close to the areas we wanted to explore.

Staff are solicitous, room was clean

Overall we had a good stay. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the halls. No enforcement of quiet hours even though the times are posted at the desk.

Room was relatively clean as was the lobby. Internet service was not available in the room, was informed that they were working on it. The "breakfast" was less than the average hotel breakfast. Coffee was weak and biscuits and gravy were cold but the waffles were good. Overall the stay was a bit bellow average.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful. Breakfast was on the skimpy side...but we had lots of traveling baseball families in the hotel...so lots of guests to feed. The hotel is older and the staff is continually working on it to keep it maintained. I use the exercise room and was happy to have a treadmill with free weights as well. The pool was older but still very nice.
