This older motel was a real gem. No dining option for supper but restaurants were close by, an easy walk. You did receive a coupon for $8.00 for a full hot breakfast in the onsite restaurant. The service was slow but the food was tasty.

This was a historical hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion that I would say is they need to get new mattresses and have mattress covers on each bed. The service was fantastic. The breakfast at the restaurant was well worth the money. The people at the check-in were very nice we enjoyed it. It’s close to walking distance to downtown if we ever get back this way we will probably stay again. Thank you for your service.

So to begin, I want to highlight everything good about this place. The building itself is very charming and cozy. The interior parking is very convenient. The onsite dining is great and the lobby felt very welcoming. The desk staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms are very cozy and have a historic and rustic feel to them which felt very nice. There is a lot of potential to this lodge. Now for the drawbacks. The room we stayed in could use some help. It needs a very deep cleaning and update. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. There was something on the walls which looked gross. The cloth wall paper has got to go; not only is it unhygienic, it holds the moisture in the bathroom which does not have ventilation and they obviously aren’t being cleaned. The floor around the toilet needs fixed as it’s horribly cracked and lifted. Also, per building codes, any outlet in a bathroom has to be a GFCI outlet and it wasn’t. And although my sheets were clean, the decorative runner was definitely not as per the stains in the photos. I did choose to stay despite this, but I don’t think I will be back unless the owners overhaul their rooms and update them just a little. Cleanliness is crucial.

This is my go to stay when you passing through Billings. It’s nothing fancy but it’s always clean rooms, good prices, nice staff. I’m a woman that travels alone a lot for work and I feel safe here. The breakfast is also delicious for a good price.
