We found a dirty sock between the bed and the wall. This was helpful as the peephole was all hole, no peep and we were able to stuff the sock into the hole so people couldn't see in. There was also a broken mirror, a weird sticky spot on the floor, and it smelled weird. Oh, the pool? It's only open until 9pm and it doesn't open til 11am (after you have to be checked out) so good luck using it.

Low water pressure. No soap or shampoo in room.

EAD REVIEWS!!! This was a last minute booking that looked great online with an awesome slide for my kids. Unfortunately I read the reviews after booking a non-refundable room. Everything people complained about is 💯. Owned and operated by foreigners it's disgusting and unkept. Place is literally falling apart. Upon arrival I mentioned the poor reviews and asked if I could get another room if necessary. She said as long as we don't disrupt the room but that it's non-refundable. Pool was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom. Usually you can smell the pool when walking inside a building. I didn't even smell chlorine in the pool room! I couldn't see the bottom of the pool, even halfway down you can't see someone's legs. The slide has separated from the bracket in one spot but several people went down without injury, though it shook really bad. Tiles on the wall are falling off and just laying there. Garbage on floor in pool area. I was wary of breakfast, due to reviews we avoided the eggs. Waffle machine dispenser is broken so they have the mix in a coffee carafe that looks like it's never been washed. There's a huge ceiling leak just outside the breakfast area. Hallway 3rd floor ceilings are cracked. I'm guessing the roof is bad. Large door by elevator (maybe fire door?) has a broken handle. Hallways stink and are dirty, elevator too.

Room itself was ok, newer remodel. Rest of hotel was awful. Smelled like curry all the time. Hotel was hotter than outside. Ice machines broken, floors wet. Pool was unavailable for 2 days. Looked like a frog pond upon arrival. Breakfast was scant. Frozen eggs you had to cook yourself, very poor selection, poostocked. Trash and junk piled out back. Tv remote didn't work. Requested new, didnt work, staff was to change tv, didn't happen. No remote for entire stay.

This place for the price was nasty!!! The rooms had holes in the wall there were roaches in the bathroom. The room smelled. The carpet in the hallway looks like they haven’t been cleaned in years. They inflated the rate during Sturgis bike week and couldn’t even make the place look better. They have a shuttle to and from the airport but charge $100 because it’s bike week. If it wasn’t for the bike week that hotel would be shut down just like the other one behind it and the closed Dennys. I would not recommend anyone to stay there

On initial entry, found lotion already partially used sitting on sink and hair around toilet. Footprints ?? on headboard. TV remote didn't work. No back on remote, batteries taped in. Complained, given new remote, but I had to program it myself ???. Was told they would clean first thing in a.m. We were gone during day, on return, nothing had been cleaned, no new towels, nothing. Complained at desk, was given stack of towels, but they were not going to clean room still. Then found a hole in the tub, and I don't mean the drain. I have photos. Fiberglass tub is cracked in several places and split open on one side! They would do nothing about any of this. They DID say they would be willing to clean the room the next morning after we checked out. They were willing to clean AFTER we checked out! Makes me wonder if sheets were even changed, since they were going out of their way to clean AFTER we were leaving. Contacted Expedia. They called hotel, then called me back. Told me since hotel didn't want to do anything, there was nothing they could do. I was shocked that Expedia allowed all this, as it has to be a health violation at least. I have photos of this.When I asked for a copy of bill the night before so I would have receipt to discuss with Expedia, they accidentally gave me the sheet that shows they paid Expedia about $80 for their referral to their hotel. Makes it easier to understand why expedia didn't do anything. Obviously staying away from Econo Lodge chain!

It’s not a destination resort but you need a decent place to stay for cheap its good!

I like not being bothered

Worst hotel I stayed at, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, toilet was nasty and trash can. Beds were hard , smelt nasty , shower was dirty, breakfast was not good and staff never filled breakfast

We reserved the room mostly because the pool and slide looked fun for the kids, and the price was affordable. While the slide looked less appealing in person, and honestly I was a little worried about how safe it was, as it looked worn and was leaking through some of the connections. But my husband who is not a small guy braved it and made it down successfully so its fine I guess. Other issues with the pool was my kids noticed multiple bugs in the water. And the hot tub had what I think were paint chips floating in it from the sides of the hot tub. Even with all of that we were trying to make the best of it. We are not the type of people to usually complain and we were tired from driving, just wanted rest and continue our trip the next day. However after the pool we went up to our room to shower and not long after that my husband noticed a bug on the pillow and asked if that was what he thought it was. I looked at it and confirmed without a doubt it was a bed bug. That was the last straw. Bed bugs are no joke and no way we were staying. I was so grossed out because I knew that the fact that it was fully grown AND it was right out in the open during the day, meant the whole place was infested. My husband took it down to the frontdesk and asked to be refunded, while I packed everything up asap. We were there less than 2 hrs. They offered a different room but we refused. They agreed to a refund but it's 2 weeks later, and we are still waiting. Stay at your own risk

When we walked in the lobby was set up nice. But once we got to our room it was all over. The smell in our room was soo overwhelming we had to open the window so we wouldn’t get sick. That’s when we realized the lock on the window was broken. Going into the bathroom we were hit with the smell of urine. The shower rod was broken and looked to be held by electrical tape. There was an area of mold on the ceiling that later on we noticed when the upstairs residents used the shower water would leak down from that area onto our toilet. The bathroom door was broken on the lower half and held together with screws. We had to call down for a plunger before we could even use the toilet. Which they didn’t answer. Had to go down to the front desk, they then gave me the plunger and told me to bring it back. Anytime I tried to call down no one ever answered. The TV remote didn’t work either when we came in. They handed us a new remote and told us the instructions were in the box on how to set up. We couldn’t watch anything except the weather channel as every other channel was constantly cutting out. The pool looked nice until I tried it and realized there was no chlorine in the pool or hot tub and felt slimy. When getting into the hot tub I realized there was no covers on any of the jets so the water just shot right up. Didn’t even bother with the slide as the platform on top looked like it was starting to disconnect from the wall.

I liked that it was better than a tent and had good water pressure in the shower. Seemed like a safe area.

Never cleaned room all week Tried to charge a fee prior to checking in after booking was complete thru Expedia. Breakfast sub standard

Bed had stains, I had to ask the staff for a change of sheets. Pool was too cold to swim in. Room was in disrepair: unfinished drywall in bathroom, broken lamp, damaged furniture. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The whole place was very rundown. Locks and push bars were broken everywhere including our room. Everything was dirty. Staff barely spoke english. Breakfast was terrible. We were told to microwave the eggs and sausage a few minutes and that was the 'fresh' ones the guy just brought out. We will never be staying there again. This place was an overpriced dump.

The staff was very nice but that’s about the only thing. There was no security lock on our door, air conditioner was extremely dirty and had a musty smell, the toilet seat was really loose and the toilet paper holder was broken. The pool was ice cold and didn’t seem like it was kept up with very well and the hot tub was barely warm. The room and hallways smelled, elevator had a musty smell. They also charge extra for booking third party. Was unable to get a refund. Will absolutely NEVER stay here again… 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The property is very out dated, rooms were clean but everywhere else was bad. Breakfast was terrible. Would not pay over $100 for a hotel like this and usually don’t.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed.

Broken toilet seat, broken tile in hall, smoke detector not installed properly, no ice at facility. Rude staff, expedia tried to charge me 60$ over normal daily rate.

Checking in was easy. The breakfast was still a basic motel breakfast but better than most.
