Econo Lodge Lakeview

There was no free hot breakfast even when was told there was. Only cereal, oatmeal and fruit. When asked about breakfast after seeing there was none, they informed only do they serve hot breakfast when the capacity is more full. With it being less capacity they put guests in the room directly above us when there were other rooms available, wish they spread it out more.

Check went smooth. Had a long day and bad weather nice to be in and able rest for the journey tomorrow

The property is a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. It’s just a couple of miles from downtown and has a nice view of Lake Superior. Checkin was an easy and friendly experience.

The property is simply a bit out dated. But everything was functional. I had an issue getting into my room, but the front desk staff quickly resolved the problem. Considering the discounted pricing for this particular trip, I was perfectly content with result.

Great option for the money & beautiful view of the lake. Trailer parking & right on the snowmobile trail. We could ride from the hotel.

The reception people were so kind. Our vehicle ended up breaking down and we weren't sure if we would need an extra night or just a later check out. They were very gracious about it all. :) it is a bit far from town, but if our vehicle had been working, that wouldn't have been an issue at all! Also, right across the toad is the water. Beautiful views!

Bed was very comfortable, heater was loud. Very good value

This hotel is fine to stay at for a night but not a long stay. I came to the area to hike in the area for a cheaper price and that's what the hotel offered. I expected to get something out of their breakfast but there were very limited options. There was only one hot food option and very minimal food options at all. There was more coffee and juices then there was actual food. When something ran out from earlier, it would not be refilled. Thankfully there were some restaurants nearby. The rooms were nice with the lakeview and comfortable beds, but the walls were thin...VERY THIN. Every move or cough you make basically shakes the whole floor. Everything was functional (tv, shower, sink,ac) but didn't look perfect (chipped tiles and bathtub paint). It's cheap so I guess that's what I paid for. Something that's not entirely the hotels fault and not very safe is the highway to enter/exit. You cannot see oncoming traffic when you are exiting the parking lot and barely have room to slow down when entering. The best way to leave is to go away from town with the flow of traffic and spin around when you have a chance. Although there were many problems, I would definitely consider coming here to be in Marquette. Be prepared to pay a little extra to get food outside of the hotel though. In the summer, I would pay extra for gas and stay in Escanaba. Charging $100 - $150 summer is outrageous.

Great views of lake superior from the room. Victoria was very friendly and fantastic!

Rooms and breakfast accommodations are nothing like it shows on the advertisement. Room temp needed to be kept at 86 to keep warm. Two very skimpy towels for use. I would not consider staying here again.
