The Row is still unique. Do miss the buffet dining, because the new additions are quite pricey. Roxy's still has the best martinis ever with super piano music. Have not been back since Covid hit and miss some of the old eateries like the wonton soup place and the oyster restaurant. Sadly there were no shows the week we were there.

It was a quick visit and my first time at the Eldorado but it exceeded my expectations. We had delicious meals and our room was clean and comfortable. We usually stay at the Grand Sierra but may make the Eldorado our new regular spot.

Booked a king bed and I got two queens and I booked two

Rooms are too old not updated and too small. I liked the restaurants and casinos inside, but outside still a lot of norcs and homeless people not a pleasant atmosphere.

Front desk should be more polite and helpfull. And not say there busy while waiting in front of the computer being the only service clerk available atm and only have two people in line. and to refer people to the check out kiosk not knowing to situation. Or need training on how to check out early through the hotel and not send them back and forth with Expedia. When I came back a second time to the front desk a gentleman was there and had the best help, made quick and simple , said I wanted to check out, he asked what number, I told, then he was able to sign me out quickly. Which I appreciated greatly.

Property itself is great, everything outside the doors is rundown boarded up and feels unsafe. Downtown Reno is dead. Very sad, stay in the casino.

The checkin lady was efficient. I got to the room and the AC was stuck on heat - when I called she immediately arranged a new room. The view from the room was crud (see photo), but that doesn't bother me. The casino was a casino, with overpriced drinks. The wifi was excellent. In the morning I wanted to use the pool - closed, please use the pool in the Silver Legacy next door - closed. That's supposed to be provided in the resort fee - I want $10 back please.

No heat in the room. The thermostat was set to max when I arrived, but it was so cold in the room (~48 degrees) that I had to sleep in a heavy jacket. They fixed it the next day, but I was fed-up and checked-out early.

everything was fine except they nickel and dime you for everything. the latest scam is to charge you $11 just to check in a little early even though there are plenty of rooms.
