Embassy Suites by Hilton Kansas City International Airport

Suite size room was great!

Carpet in the rooms need a serious shampoo or replacement. I’m guessing they’re at least 15-20 years old? Being barefoot in the room at all made the bottoms of our feet turn gray. I was told we could get an early check in when calling ahead before leaving town. Upon arrival the receptionist informed me that was only if the room was ready. We had two cranky toddlers two hours past nap time, and were pacing around the lobby like tigers waiting for the green light of our room being ready, but we got through it. One receptionist was very kind and reassuring, but we won’t be making that mistake again. Pool is inexplicably murky, but we swam anyway. When in Rome.

The AC In room 817 rattled all night. The bed was Not comfortable at all. The floor in the atrium area needed to be vacuumed. The breakfast was ok the omlets are freshly made. You have to pay to stay here and pay to pay here per night (rip off). A big ball of hair was in the bathroom upon entry. The space was big to accommodate us. Property is outdated.

C’mon, the room and bath is tired. Looks and feels 1980ish. Use some of the money I paid to update the baths and furniture that is worn and damaged. You think we don’t notice?

Got me with a surprise $17 overnight parking fee that wasn't part of the Orbitz pay what you see final price so that set the welcome to Embassy mood. Hotel is like a time capsule from 2010. Every other hotel in area is nicer and cheaper, I chose wrong here.

Always a nice place to stay.

The room was clean for the most part. It looked like mold was growing in the corner of the shower. Other than that no complaints. Parking did cost 15 dollars for no apparent reason (not a high traffic area).

We have been at this hotel before. Seems that no effort has been made to maintain it. We love Embassy Suites, but will not be back to this location.

Nice staff. Good breakfast. Beautiful property, Great stay overall. But there was a small leak in AC machine above sink

Hiden fees

I was very surprised at the condition of the outside of the hotel…I’ve stayed at Embassy suites before and they were beautiful. Several areas looked very unkept..

Hotel needs remodeling. Wallpaper was dated. Needs new furniture and carpet. Lobby dated. Mattress sagged in the middle. The staff was however very friendly and helpful. Finally, they charge for parking when it was previously free. It’s part of a trend to nickel and dime you for every little thing at your hotel stay.

Did not have a meal there but the free social hour at night only had one beer option.Wait staff was friendly.Bed was comfortable,their was a tear in the couch and about a three foot rust stain down the wall from the fire sprinkler.

As a family of five this is the way to go! Our suite was a great space for all of us. Breakfast was awesome! So many choices and the made to order omelets, pancakes/french toast were off the charts! First time staying at an Embassy Suites and let's just say it will not be the last!

Evening reception and morning breakfast was not up to par per previous visits. Staff was friendly but lack of staff to meet the needs of the customers

Seemed odd to pay for parking with a large open air parking lot around the hotel. Otherwise was great.

The staff was very friendly. Hotel was quite nice and clean. Bar staff was friendly and hospitable. I very much enjoyed my stay. I’ll be booking here anytime I come into town

Overall, was a great stay for my family.

Water pressure in shower and bathroom sink wasn’t very good. Free breakfast was good and staff was very helpful
