Embassy Suites by Hilton Louisville Downtown

I know I am sounding like a cheapskate, but the happy hour was disappointing hardly any snacks and a two drink limit yet the price of the room keeps going up!

My reservation was made for a kimg room and when we arrived they told we were getting a dounle quenn because that is what was sent to them. Even after showimg my reservation they wouldnt change it

Parking was only downside

Furniture in room a tired and worn; TV in awkward location and could not be viewed from sofa; bathroom was nicest part of room and the bed was comfortable; only valet parking available at $45 and not easy to negotiate 4th to get to it, but attendant very pleasant and helpful even though very busy; front desk staff too busy talking to security about unruly customers to give us her full attention - made comment “glad I don’t have to deal with it, I get off at 6”; skipped breakfast due to lack of cleanliness of dining area. Won’t stay here again.

Went for my wife’s birthday. Hotel was okay…. Nothing fancy. Like the location of being next to 4th Street Live…. Did NOT like that every time we went in or out we were approached by homeless wanting money or cigarettes. (Eight different men). Would not have felt safe sending my wife out alone (or if we brought our kids). Bar area was too crowded to even get our complementary drinks. Like I said…. Okay stay, nothing overly impressive about the place.

It was okay. I have stayed in better embassy suites. Please mimic Nashville downtown embassy which was nice especially their breakfast and their reception.

Embassy is always a great stay no matter what city. The Louisville location did not disappoint and the location was great too.

During checking in the desk was not very friendly nor did they explain parking and other amenities. They did not explain the cost breakdown without me asking. I felt like I was bothering them.

Room purchased did not come with amenities listed during purchase on website.

Good time

Great location, walkable go anywhere downtown. Staff was welcoming and helpful. There is a cvs attached if you need anything. We will stay here again next time.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel was a little confusing to walk around to find your room and the breakfast area, however thats a minor thing. The hotel was clean my room was very spacious. I would stay there again.

Couple nights in town with the family. We especially appreciated the breakfast and the room lay out. We had great interactions with the staff we came across. No included parking ($45 to valet) and small pool size were the only downsides.

Nice location , within walking distance of convention center. Breakfast was amazing, fresh food, made to order omelets. Very clean rooms. Only complaint was the service was slow, checking in took longer than expected. They ran out of linen for the pull out sofa bed. We were there at a time where over 15,000 people were in town. May have contributed to the slow service.

I stayed here because one of my children had an appointment at Norton. Great downtown location for our reason of stay or if even if you are in town to enjoy 4th street. If I stay in Louisville again, I will be staying here.

Perfect location to visit Louisville area sights. Very nice and friendly staff. Everything was very pleasant and comfortable.

Everything about the stay was fantastic

We’ll definitely stay here again! The winter storm forced us to find a hotel instead of driving through. Glad we chose to stay here. We were greeted by the friendliest valet and check in was quick. Hotel is recently renovated with modern, upscale decor. We had dinner at the hotel since almost all restaurants closed early due to storm. The server / bartender was really nice. She was so helpful and offered suggestions. Rooms are pristine and beds are comfy. Everyone we can across who works there are cheerful and hospitable.

I thought everything was great except that they only had one person working at the front desk to check people in. There should have been two people.
