I was disappointed to pay for parking as this was not located in downtown city limits.

Every time my husband and I come to the Oakland/Berkley area we stay here in a WaterView room, accommodations are excellent.

From all the hotels I have stayed, the breakfast here is the bomb! I loved the vegetarian options, the fresh cut up fruit, the waffle machines (x2), the continuous refills, the eating area was kept clean, loved the various pastry options (gluten-free included), I can just taste the freshness. Thank you for this! I will be staying here again and will be my first choice next time I need to stay in Oakland, CA.

Property is quiet and peaceful on the Estuary side of the property with a great View. Staff is excellent and helpful.

Where do I begin?.. I checked in reservations were for a room with double beds side by side. They put me in a room with bunk beds. Literal bunk beds. I figured that they must have had a reason for this I.e., the rooms that more accurately matched my selected choice (side by side double beds) were for whatever reason not up to par therefore when I called front desk to inquire I asked if I could see the room they were moving me to. She told me no they do not allow me to see it first. I found that strange but I just went with it. They moved me to a side by side bed room. Immediately I realized the room had an awful stench. I turned on the AC and immediately began itching. I opened the blinds to open the window and the windows were bolted shut. I couldn't open the windows. As I raised the blinds the itch turned to burning. My nose and my eyes immediately started burning and watering. I saw mold all around the window seal. The bathroom was completely out dated and filled with mold spores. The whole room was a Petri dish of mold and bacteria. When logging into the wifi I saw a network connection which read, “We LOVE H**KERS,” there were summers eve packets (women douches) in the second bed. It was the absolute WORSE experience I've had yet. Needless to say I booked for two weeks. On the morning of day three I called the front desk and shared my experience and requested a refund. I was told that so long as I check out before 11AM the hotel would refund the remainder of my stay.

My only comment would be the dryer was super loud on 3rd floor. Was concerned the guests by the laundry would stop my clothes cuz it was so loud.

Easy and safe parking, 10 minutes from down town Oakland. Hotel was clean, friendly and quiet.

I was awakened by the fire alarm at approximately 4:45 am and the alarm continued to go off at random times for the remainder of the morning. There was no attempt from management to accommodate the guests. We all deserved our money back for the huge inconvenience. I was not able to rest once the alarm originally went off. The staff or management did not offer an apology unless the guests complained. Horrible experience and customer service

There were a false alarm at 4:55 a.m. The alarm kept going off and on for two more hour's. I still don't know what caused the false alarm.

Great price, awesome staff, and property is well-maintained. Wheelchair accessible too. Free breakfast 😋
