5 Stars – Great Stay by the Water!
I had a wonderful experience at Executive Inn & Suites in Oakland over Memorial Day weekend. The location is peaceful and right by the waterfront, which made for some relaxing views—especially in the evening. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the little balcony overlooking the water was a bonus!
Staff were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of parking. It’s close to Jack London Square, and we were able to use Uber to get around easily. Breakfast was simple but fresh, and the overall vibe of the hotel was laid-back and safe.
If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing spot in Oakland without the chaos of downtown, this is it. I’d definitely come back!

It was a bit noisy at night over the weekend with people slamming their doors until after midnight. It was graduation weekend. Road noise constant unless you got a river view room. Beds comfortable. Water warm, shower pressure adequate. Breakfast included. Geese & goslings fun to watch at breakfast.

Staff was great, especially Kim. Clean, nice facility with good breakfast. Paying $17/night for open lot parking seems steep. Close to freeway and not far from a marginal area, but still a gem by the water. Recommend paying for the bay view side. A great choice for the area.
