Extended Stay America Suites Lexington Tates Creek

The A/C in the room was frozen over and leaking, never worked properly. Everything was very outdated and old. Back door broke to enter from the back parking lot. Chose because of location but will not stay there again.

Dated and ever-present odor. Although not of relevance to me, I’m not sure how someone in a wheelchair can navigate this hotel. You have to walk upstairs to get to office (there is a makeshift elevator to navigate this part) but then after check in you have to walk up stairs to get to rooms and then navigate a spiral staircase to go up or down. No elevator. Upon entering the hotel it smelled like beer and old cigarettes. Not a pleasant smell. The carpets are dirty. We went to our room down the spiral staircase and the hallway and room smelled like cigarettes and shave cream. It was so strong it kept me up most of the night. The bathroom sink was water damaged so the mdf board had swelled and the inner wood was sticking out so it rubbed on our clothing or belly when brushing teeth. No hair dryer in rooms. The a/c unit was set to 70 and didn’t cool the room. It had condensation on the unit and seemed froze up. The bed was comfy but the other issues negated the comfy bed. Pets are allowed in this hotel and the neighboring room had a dog that barked at 6a until about 6:15 when its owner left the room. It’s in a safe neighborhood and the desk clerk was nice but I wouldn’t stay here again due to these conditions.

Everything was Good

Is was great. But when I checked in it smelled like cigarettes. And thought it would smell like that in the room. Thankfully not. Other than that it was great.

We moved here from the Days Inn, and the extended stay was overbooked, and called us asking if we were okay with moving to their sister hotel La Quinta, and we said sure! The front desk staff were so kind and if we go back to Kentucky we will book there again

Housekeeping never came by to throw trash away or change towels. The whole hotel smelled like smoke even though it’s suppose to be non smoking.

We received a phone call a few hours before check-in informing us that the hotel was overbooked. They had planned to put us in another hotel in the other side of town which was not acceptable. Thankfully in the end they were able to find room for us.

We had a great stay here, the staff was very friendly, never had any issues about anything during our stay. Rooms are bug free, pet yard was nice and big. Beds are comfy. Probably one of my favorite hotels in the lexington area. The hotel gives family oriented vibes!

It's very hard to feel like the room is clean when there's obvious spots where someone spilled liquid on the wall and it wasn't cleaned up. There was also a large stain on the carpet. It's a weird building with a spiral staircase in the lobby. And the not providing paper towels or dishes in the room but having to request them is inconvenient. I get why they did that though. This "smoke free" facility also stank of marijuana multiple days during our stay.

Excellent stay with exceptional staff, we can't wait to go back and will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends! Check in and check out was super easy, the property was clean and cute, and the room was very comfortable

Knew the area of town. Had business in the area so was convenient to stay there.

Property was fine. The room smelt very weird but Lysol helped haha but wasn’t a terrible stay at all

Nice not bad

While the room was clean except the mold in the tub and the toilet wouldnt flush, thr front desk gal recleaned and sanitized the tub, put up a new shower curtain. She was very nice and accomodating. The property is not really disability friendly, but we were put on the first floor so we didnt have to climb a spiral staircase. --Did not try the grab and go breakfast. --could use newer pillows that are not rock hard. Comfortable bed just and very small room with an odd layout.

The bathtub had soap scum all over it. And who ever was above me made noise until 3am. I got no sleep and the kitchen had nothing to cook with not even a glass and microwave was dirty

I really liked staying here! The rooms are a little outdated and theres no elevator, but its only 3 floors and super affordable for those staying just for a weekend. Breakfast was served VERY early, like 4:30-9am is what they told us at the desk, but other than that it was great!

As bad as I hate to leave such a terrible review, I have to. As soon as I got to the bottom of the stair case to the hall, all I could smell was body odor and weed!! Then when I got inside my room i opened the refrigerator and seen it hadn’t been cleaned out. Several different things inside including milk, coffee creamer, ketchup, eggs and butter. Then went to the bathroom and seen a dirty razor in the shower and lots of hair at the bottom of the shower. It was clear that this room had not been cleaned!! The only thing that appeared to be clean was the sheets on the bed. Even the floors had crap on them. I am very disappointed with this hotel and will never stay here again.

The place is old and dirty. I reserved a room with two beds and received confirmation for it. However, when I checked in, I was given a room with one bed and a couch. The check-in attendant said they didn’t have a room with two beds available. The smell was awful, and the mattress was filthy. Terrible, just terrible, never again

It was better than I expected.
