Located in downtown Charlotte, Fairfield is very nicely maintained, quiet and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. NOT within walking distance of shops or restaurants, but that’s why it’s so such a quiet and safe area. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Friendly and helpful Front desk staff

Our stay here was terrific! We came for a concert in Charlotte and it was easy to get to from the Ovens auditorium. Front desk was super helpful and friendly, it was easy to check in, parking was simple and had In-N-Out privileges. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, although whatever they used for air freshener was overpowering and very chemical smelling but that was our only complaint at all! The breakfast was amazing and the staff there were super kind! We will stay here again!

Front deck lady was amazing

From check in to check out everything was excellent. The food at the bar was delicious. The breakfast was your standard breakfast. The room was clean. The bathroom could’ve been better. Hair in sink and shower. Overall I pleased with our stay. Will stay there again.

I personally think the bed was too hard. I ended up using a spare blanket we'd brought on our trip under me as extra padding. The staff was unbelievably helpful, friendly, and efficient - especially AUSTIN!

Great Stay!

The pool and sitting areas were very nice, the breakfast selection was great, and he front desk staff were ALL amazing! Only complaint was the $30 a day parking fee...that was a 45% fee on top of the room rate. I felt like that was taking advantage because there was no parking anywhere else. I did appreciate that they waived that fee for folks who had loved ones at the hospital.

Paid parking on-site, smooth and quick check in and breakfast included- what more could you want!

Friendly stuff

The good stuff: Nice pool area. Great breakfast. Easy to Uber from location. The not-so-good stuff. Night 1 - huge roach crawled across the wall. This incident, they took care of right away, and upgraded us to a better room. Was dealt with swiftly and with great customer service. However, it was around 11pm, and climbed right into bed when we got to the suite. Then....DAY 2: Got up and looked down at the bed, and realized there were pee stains all over the sheets that were NOT ours. Very gross to realize we just slept in urine stains. Let the front desk know, and was told they'd fix the problem. Get back from a long day exploring the city, and find the bed has NOT been changed. There were clean sheets folded and left for us in the room, but in a phone call to the front desk, we were told we should have requested them be put on the bed! ??? The rep said we would need to change the DIRTY STAINED SHEETS ourselves and make a new bed. I have NEVER heard of the before in ANY hotel stay! Explained we were paying customers, and shouldn't have to clean a dirty bed left by other guests. Then, the front desk said they were the only staff in the hotel, and would not be able to leave the front desk unless they could find someone to run it for them. So - we changed the gross sheets, and never heard from staff about it again. SO DISAPPOINTED. I've always loved staying in Fairfield Inns, but this experience has me questioning the Marriott brand.

Everything was awesome from breakfast to stay
